1. What made you decide to become a professional wrestler?
I decided to become a professional wrestler The first time I saw it live
at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento. I was amazed at the way the
people cheered and booed the wrestlers.
2. Who trained you? How did you find them as your trainer? Why choose
them over someone else?
I first started my training with APW in the Bay Area under Mike Modest.
Later I left there and went to Naw and finished my training Bryan Ward.
I picked APW over I'm Pro wrestling simply because they had a much more
professional camp. The trainer was in the ring training the camp. Not
sitting in the office. I left there because Modest had stopped running
the camp. I felt that with him gone I wasn't getting the training I wanted.
3. What promotions do you/have you worked for?
I have worked for many promotions,SPW,NAW PWI,XWF,AWS,UWF,RPW,WCPW,HWA,BVW,BTW
4. Of all the promotions you have worked for, which have been your
favorites? Why?
Of coarse SPW and NAW they are my home. I believe that we have the best
locker room in the world. Also PWI, It is good to work for guys who you
respect. Plus the talent level there is awesome.
5. What has been your most embarrassing moment in the sport so far?
That would have to be anytime I have to do a Promo against Flaco Loco.
That man can make you look real stupid.
6. What has been your most memorable moment in the business thus far?
There has been a couple but I would have to say that the night we had
a show for my friend and former partner Rich Roby.I feel that the wrestling
world in Northern Cal really came together that night.
7. What wrestlers do you most enjoy stepping into the ring with or
against?
The first would have to be Flaco Loco. The energy that you feel from the
crowd is awesome. Also Sal Tomicilli and Chupacito. The both have awesome
ability and force you to keep a fast pace. Handsome Jack and Dante are
2 other guys who I like to work, Jack is old school. Dante is a mix of
everything from hard-core to mat skills.
8. What do you think of the current state of professional wrestling?
Do you think the little guys can continue to survive when so many indy
promotions are closing their doors?
I think the problem is that There are so many feds that have
guys that haven't been trained working it make it hard to get your name
out there. When you do finally get a little recognition you get bashed.
If there weren't so many feds it would make being a wrestler mean something.
But now it seems like anyone who has money can buy a ring and start a
company. They just forget to hire trained workers.
9. When you're not wrestling, what do you enjoy doing?
The thing that I most enjoy is spending time with my family. I have two
sons and a wife they mean so much to me. Other than that I coach high
school football, go to the gym and run the SPW training Academy.
10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I would like to see myself in Japan. But I will still defiantly still
be With SPW and running the Academy. Also still hear people saying that
SPW won't make it another 3 months..LOL
