CWF Mid-Atlantic hits the road this weekend for two loaded events! Saturday night we return to ZX Fitness Center in Statesville with a big night of action including two championships on the line! For the PWI Ultra J Championship CALEB KONLEY defends versus KAMAKAZI KID! The brand new champion makes his first title defense against the man many people say helped him capture the championship! As Konley was battling Xsiris for the title, Kazi evened up the odds during the bout by taking out X's crooked manager William Cross. With it one on one, Konley locked Xsiris in his patented submission hold and with no one to help him, X tapped out to give Konley his first PWI championship. Now in Statesville these two popular competitors square off with the gold on the line!
A grudge tag-team match in Statesville will pit CHASE DAKOTA and MECHA MERCENARY against Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion LEE VALIANT and ARIK ROYAL! Chase and Mecha have posed quite a threat to Valiant's Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship in recent months and have also made an enemy out of Valiant's long time friend Arik Royal. This will be the first time all four have been in the same match legally at the same time and promises to be fireworks at ZX Fitness!
Champion versus Champion action will see Mid-Atlantic Television Champion RAY KANDRACK defend against Rising Generation League Champion JASON MILLER in what could be the show stealer as these two heavy hitters throw down for the Television Championship!.
It seems the Fatback versus All Stars war seems to have one more battle left as Statesville's own TY DILLINGER has challenged NICK RICHARDS, saying he will succeed where the other All Stars failed and put Nick out of wrestling!
The Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions THE VIRGINIA BOMBERS face TREVOR LEE and BEN TYLER in a high flying war and the "foundation" of Fatback DONNIE DOLLAR$ squares off against "ARROGANT" ARIC ANDREWS!
Then Sunday afternoon we travel up I-85 North and return to the outdoor sports pavillion at on the grounds of the Granville Athletic Park in Oxford, NC. The park is conveniently located at 4615 Belltown Road in Oxford. From I-85 take exit 202 onto US Highway 15. Take a left on Belltown Road and travel 1.3 miles to the Granville Athletic Park. Look for the covered part of the pavillion or if you see a wrestling ring, that'd be us! Bell time is 3:30 PM and gates open at 2:30 PM.
Oxford will see the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship go on the line as the All Stars TY DILLINGER and MICHAEL McALLISTER square off against the VIRGINIA BOMBERS, ADAM PAGE and JASON BLADE. The wildly popular champions could be in jeopardy here as Dillinger has considered himself a tag-team expert for some time and IS a former champion. Not to mention the already arrogant McAllister may have the added boost of wrestling before a hometown crowd. Oxford has seen the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Titles change hands before and it could happen again this Sunday afternoon!
A huge special attraction in Oxford will see Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion LEE VALIANT go one on one against CALEB KONLEY! No titles are on the line but if Konley retains his title on Saturday night this will put the Ultra J Champion against the Mid-Atlantic Champion in a battle for supremacy. Either way it will be two of the finest wrestlers in the Mid-Atlantic going toe to toe in what should be an instant classic!
Oxford will also see a first time ever singles collision as MECHA MERCENARY squares off against ARIK ROYAL! This bout will pit two of the strongest and most intense warriors on the Mid-Atlantic roster against each other and it will be the strongest who survives this clash of the titans!
