Ten Questions With . . .

Corvis Fear

1. What made you want to become involved in pro wrestling?

Well, it's basically just the same old story stereotyped by every wrestler. I was always a fan growing up, and wrestling was always a passion of mine. I was attending a local indy show held by Jersey All-Pro Wrestling, and they announced that they were opening a wrestling school. At that moment it just seemed everything came together and I new what I wanted to do.

2. Where were you trained? When and where was your first match?

I was trained at the Jersey All-Pro Wrestling Academy and was trained by Magic of the Shaolin Wrecking Crew, Skinhead Ivan, Danny Maff (formerly Mafia), and Monsta Mack among other JAPW superstars. My first match was for a JAPW student show in October of 2001 in the Chairty Hall in Bayonne, New Jersey. I teamed up with indy wrestler New Wave and took on Rampage and Tony Lazaro.

3. What promotions have you worked for?

Jersey All-Pro Wrestling, The LIWF/DPW Doghouse, SSCW, ECPW, IPW-Hardcore, AWA, BWO, EWA, JWA/UWF, IHPW, SWF, CWA, and UWA. I am also looking forward to working for more promotions this year.

4. What do you feel has been the highlight of your career thus far?

I can't really say that I've had one particular highlight in my career thus far, because I see every match as a great learning experience and just try to make the best out of every match I have. Although taking a Balls Mahoney chairshot was quite an experience.

5. What has been your most embarrassing moment in the business?

Well quite sumtime ago, I was wrestling a student show for the BWO wrestling school, and there was a spot planned where the guy I was facing, Frankie C. Note, was to pull my shorts down. Well the spot seemed well, but when he pulled em down, the button and zipper shattered, and my shorts continued to fall the whole show. I was later watching the tape, and definately saw my package make an appearance on several occasions.

6. Who have been some of your favorite people to step into the ring with or against?

Christ, to try to put a finger on my favorites would take forever, but certain guys that stand out were one of by best friends before he retired, Tony Lazaro, and my Tag Partener, Rush Margera. We form the Tag Team, the New Reality, and look forward to taking on all the great tag teams on teh Indy cercuit right now.

7. What is the best and worst thing about being a professional wrestler?

The best thing hands down is the feeling you get stepping into the ring. The feeling you get listening to the crowd and just the fullfillment of having a good match. The worst thing, by far, is the politics that come with this business, it gets really hard to deal with sometimes, but it's just something you got to get used to.

8. What do you think of the current state of professional wrestling and Indy wrestling in general?

Right now I think that Pro Wrestling is in some what of a Plateau Phase, it's not really at a low, but it's not booming. I think Indy wrestling will start to rise up again and become more popular then it ever was, :::Cheap Plug Warning::: Espiacially once me and Rush start tagging all over the place, giving people more then their money's worth :::Cheap Plug Ended:::

9. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I enjoy art and music. I consider myself somewhat of an artist and try to draw as much as possible, and I also love going to concerts and such. I am also a big fan of Phobias and Greek Mythology, so you'll catch me reading every now and again, as hard as that is to beleive. Then, of course, just the normal stuff, hanging out with friends and stuff like that.

10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully as a Very successful Tag Team on the Indy circuit, and maybe even beyond that. I see myself wiser, and more experienced, but that's a given, and most of all, I see myself, Corvis Fear, as well as the tag team "The New Reality" as names known nation wide and finally getting the exposure I feel we deserve :::2nd Cheap Plug Ended::: No, but really, I hope to see us in a successful place in our careers, leading up to our primes, and I just can't wait to see what the future holds.
