Erica Porter Erica Porter first became known to wrestling fans from her appearances in WOW as Jungle Grrrl. Erica has gone on to prove that she has amazing ability and talent as she now wrestles with UPW and continues to build a name for herself. Be sure to check out her website at http://www.junglegrrrl.net 1. What made you decide to get into professional wrestling? 2. How did you enjoy your experience working with WOW? Why do you
think they only lasted one season before closing shop? 2. I loved WOW. I could not have asked for a better boss in David McClane and the girls were all excited about the opportunity. WOW is not done, the next chapter is right around the corner. 3. How did you make the transition from WOW to UPW? How did you find
out about UPW? 3. I took a leave of absence from wrestling for about 1 1/2 years. It wasn't until I filmed a documentary on wrestling for the Travel channel that I learned of a wrestling facility to train, UPW. I became very intrigued and checked it out. I enjoyed myself at the first practice and realized, wrestling is where my destiny lay. And from there my passion for this business took off. 4. What wrestlers do you enjoy watching? 4. I love Shawn Michaels! I also enjoy Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, and a couple others. Of course, I have to give a heads up to the one and only Albert, A-Train. As far as the women, I feel Molly Holly and Jazz are the two best wrestlers in the sport. Coming up in the ranks are Victoria and Trish Stratus. I think the WWE women's division is moving in the right direction. 5. What has been your most embarrassing moment in the business? 6. What do you like to do in your spare time? 7. What is the best and worst thing about being in professional wrestling? 7. I get to do what I love. And best of all, I'm good at what I do! There are no down sides. 8. What has been the highlight of your career thus far? 9. As a woman in a predominately male sport, are you ever treated differently by other wrestlers or promoters? 9. I'm sure I am, but I am a strong women with confidence to spare and I will always prevail! I will never take the attitude of poor me. F@*! You, I'll show you! 10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
