A new column? From ME?! I haven't wrote this since late September last year I guess. There's a million and one reasons for this, and I think I might need to condense it somewhat so that it doesn't turn into a diary of sorts. I dedicate this column to those of you who kept asking when I was going to write - I didn't realise people actually cared that much, and it means a lot to know you do.

Well, since August last year I've been a manager, for ACW (www.acwrestling.co.uk) locally; and have been having a lot of fun. The best thing is I don't have to pretend to be what I'm not. I get to be loud, arrogant, annoying, and a heel! I get to tart around and be daft, and be encouraged to do so. I've also had the dream come true of working a show in my home town of Luton, in October - which is also available on dvd from the ACW website. I've had some good times, gained some really good friends (I'm particularly shouting in your direction, Bull Harley!); and it's good to be living the dream. The stories I could tell..... but had best not! (I'm saving them for my autobiography!).

In November, I got to FINALLY meet Mick Foley and thank him for his kindness to my close friend Tommy. I got to meet Bill Apter and thank him for the opportunity I had to write for him (and he really is a lovely man). I got to have a chat and giggle with Jonny Storm, Sonjay Dutt, and have an amusing time around The Sandman. Sandy decided to fall in love with my little daughter, and Victoria felt the same. Any wrestler who will sell for a 3 year old girl, and make friends with her for no other reason than he wanted to, is a very good man. And both my kids think Sandman is awesome now, and I want to thank him in print for being really cool. Possibly not the best role model during a wrestling show, but then again neither am I to them!!!

To wrap that up, I thank Gareth (Gangster) at UCW sincerely for having us out that night. It was a wonderful night, we had a really great time; and it's always good to catch up with my 'original' family at UCW. I love you guys dearly, and you know it. At least you'd BEST do! So shouts to my 'nephew' Atom, 'little bro' Rocco, Chris Petherwick (a man with an ego comparable to mine!), Dann Read, and many more - and I can't wait to see you guys soon.

Then the sadness. I lost my mother in law late August, and life's not the same without her. Mum in law jokes aside, she was a hell of a good friend to me, and one I'm still lost without. She would have loved me doing this, she'd have been the classic 'World of Sport' 1980's British wrestling granny at ringside, with her umbrella; shouting abuse at the heels and cheering the good guys. Hell, she'd done it at at least two other shows in recent years. I'll forever be sorry she never got the chance to be in the crowd and shout at ME during a show, as I know we would have had a wonderful chemistry. Jeanette - as much as my kids miss their 'Nanny Po', as much as Chrissie misses her mum - I miss you too, and I hope you're looking down and proud of me.

It's no secret due to how it blew up, but I'm no longer a part of 1PW. If I'd have wrote this at the time it happened, I'd be being sued by now. I write in retrospect now, and whilst I'm still a bit sore over parts of it (as I'm sure he is too); both sides (myself and Steven) have moved on quite well in the end, and can speak on occasion via email without bad feeling. I'm happy where I am, he's happy where he is; and I wish him luck with all he does. I'm 31 this year, not 13, and it's good to move on to new projects.

I now run a website for Mana, The Polynesian Warrior; who can be found working all over the US; and I predict this is the year he makes it with TNA or the WWE as a big star. Mana is a class act as a person, and a really entertaining wrestler who deserves that big stage to perform on.

To finish up this column that reminds you that I'm still alive and provoking trouble(!!), I leave you with a couple of shouts to friends who have been there for me and keeping me sane recently.... Shaka (DOOM! I tells ya), Kris Krude, that loveable Blue Meanie, Mana, Crazii Shea (ladders, and dadda's oh MY!).

To those of you who asked for a new column, once again I thank you; and promise to keep up with writing more often. I appreciate it more than you know, to know that you give a damn what I have to say. Visit my new website, www.freewebs.com/theinterneticon (run by ME!), and leave me a guestbook message. And remember... ' I'm better than you, because I'm from Luton!'.
