Hells Belles

They are former WEW Tag Team Champions. You have seen the on the Howard Stern Show. You may have seen them at Cheerleader's in Philadelphia or a number of other magazines or tv shows. Annie Social and Shane Hardcore, collectively known as Hells Belles, are making an impact on the indy wrestling scene and have taken time out of their schedule (and time away from smoking blunts... I think) to answer 10 Questions for the Wrestling Clothesline.

1. How did you get involved in professional wrestling? How did the team Hells Belles come about?

Annie: I was actually discovered at a strip club. I'm generally a pretty physical performer. I do everything from dropping into a split from a few feet in the air to round offs in stiletto heels. They seemed to be impressed with my performance and asked if I would be interested in working one of their shows. I started out doing only oil matches at first and then I put myself through wrestling school. I'm not the best technical wrestler, but I try. I aim to entertain.

Shane: I have a little problem with anger as does my counterpart. Annie thought it was in my best interest to get into the business because it "beats the shit outta jail". I've been at it for about a year now. I got some technical training under my belt and I came on as Annie's tag team partner, hence the birth of Hells Belles.

Annie: She came up with the name. I kept spitting out names like "switchblade sisters", and "riot death squad" and a laundry list of even more corny names with the word death in them. Two blunts later she opened her mouth and out it came.

2. What do you enjoy the most about being involved in pro wrestling?

Annie: I like it all. I get to yell. I get to scream. I get to hit people. I get hit back. And it's all in fun. Its the best way to release aggression that I've found so far.

Shane: hmmmm.... well i am generally too loud and obnoxious but i guess that is the secret to success in this business. but then again i really don't give a rats ass... i am Shane Hardcore!

3. What do you enjoy the least about being in it?

Annie: I hate drama, in any form it may take. I hate primadonnas that think they're cooler than you. There are so many jealous girls out there.

Shane: Well, very funny you should ask that question. I could go on for days with this one but I will sum it up for you short and sweet. I hate workers that are so fake you can smell it before you even get in the locker room. Also I hate workers that take it personally when your having a bad day, I guess no one is smart enough to realize that you shouldn't piss us off when we are already in a bad state of mind!

4. Were you a fan of pro wrestling before becoming involved in it? If so, what are some of your favorite memories as a fan?

Annie: Yes. I've been a fan for a long time. One of my favorite matches of all time would have to be Al Snow and Big Boss Man in the kennel from hell match. Those puppies were f'n adorable. Although, I did cry when the Hulkster got pinned by the Ultimate Warrior at wrestlemania when I was a little girl and any time Rey Mysterio squared off with Psychosis it was incredible. And don't get me started on ECW. Tommy Dreamer can take one hell of a beating. It's really hard to say what my absolute favorite memory is.

Shane: Hell Yes! When I was a kid I used to watch it with Poppi Hardcore all the frickin' time. He took me when I was a tyke and I remember seeing the Ultimate Warrior! Wow, can i tell you what a epic experience that was! G.L.O.O.W. ruled, big ups to Big Bad Momma! Dusty Rhoades and Cactus Jack are my heroes, man. I was also a big fan of Elizabeth. She was so beautiful and to think that someone so stunning be so bad ass was beyond me. So note to self at age 8: be a hot chick that can kick all types of ass, that simple folks! But as we all know no one can beat the Killer Kowolski!

5. What was it like being on the Howard Stern show? Was it as painful for you to get in the ring against Benjy and Smoke as it was for us to watch?

Annie: The Stern crew is great. I was very nervous on the air and it didn't go as great as it could have but it was a good experience all in all. As far as the match with Smoke and Benjy, I wish we could have done a little more with it.

Shane: Stern, super fun time! Everyone there was super nice. Now the rematch with Benjy and the Smoke, I felt as though we were limited with the match as far as what we could do. The state athletic commissioner was there and trust me when i say we got away with what we could. Damn thoes bastards! But what are ya gonna do, not everyone can be HARDCORE!

6. Being a huge horror fan (as you are) maybe you can tell me.. what the hell were they thinking when they wrote and filmed Halloween 3??

Annie: Okay. Now I go off on a tirade. The concept was ok. Especially for when it was filmed. But what the hell do haunted halloween masks have to do with Michael Myers. It took major balls for them to even recognize that movie as a part of the series. They could have just called it "Season of the Witch" and left it to be looked at and not picked up in the video stores as it was meant to be. I love John Carpenter, but WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!

Shane: I didn't see it but it sounds cheesy as hell. Where the f*** was Michael Myers? GAY!

7. For the pervs in the audience... how long have you worked at Cheerleaders? Do you enjoy working there? Why did you choose to work at a bikini bar as opposed to another club?

Annie: I've been working at Cheerleaders since December of 2004. I love it there. The owner and the management are cool as hell. They are very supportive of Shane and I in everything we do. We're kinda like a big disfunctional family. I really have no preference as to whether I work topless or not. I chose Cheerleaders because of the people who run it. It's a very relaxed atmosphere too. It's the perfect place to relax and have a good time.

Shane: Well I have been there on and off for 5 years. I did some travel dancing in between. It is more awesome than most of the clubs I have worked at. I am there with my fellow Italians (management), doing it up! I truly like working there over the "topless" gentleman's clubs for the simple fact that it leaves a little more to the imagination, AND there are some ladies there who just dont got it like Annie and I do, who the hell wants to see their genitals???!!?? Lord knows i don't!

8. If you could change anything about any of your careers thus far, what would you change?

Annie: I would have started wrestling earlier.

Shane: Wrasslin' - Should've started way earlier, and everything else I have done- Whats it any of your business? This is a wrestling interview, right? Muahahahaha!

9. Where can fans find out more about you, your wrestling, and your other ventures?

Annie: anniesocial.com

Shane: Either anniesocial.com or shanehardcore.com (coming soon) or the big mouths in the business who think they know what the hell I am up to.

10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Annie: 5 years? Damn. I don't even know where I'm gonna be tomorrow. But wherever I am, I'll probably be smoking a blunt.

Shane: Somewhere where you wont be able to find me! Probably with Annie hogging that delicious blunt!
