JADENIn our ongoing attempt to introduce our readers to names on the indy scene that they may not be familiar with, but we feel are or will be making and impact, we are glad to present 10 Questions With... Jaden! 1. What made you decide to get into professional wrestling? I have been involved in this sport in one way shape or form since I was 3. I have done everything from selling programs, Setting up chairs, Video Taping, Being a ring boy and setting up the ring before I was even old enough to drive. My brother used to take me all over to every wrestling show in driving distance and I loved it. I just have always been doing something wrestling related. Then when I was 17 I started Training and a few months after my 18th birthday I had my first match. I am sure i stunk the place up and I don't even remember who i worked. All I know is that I was living my dream. There was nothing else in my life that I wanted more then being a wrestler and I finally achieved that now at 26 I am just trying to have fun and help my self and One in a Million ( the Divine One and the Sensational One ) Make some kind of positive impact in this business 2. What did your family and friends think about your decision to get involved in wrestling? My Mom hated it, She still hates it. She thinks it is nonsense. My brother thinks it is cool though. Most of my friends think it is the most awesome thing in the world and half of my high school thought I was going to be a Pro Wrestler no matter what. I Trained with a few of my friends when I first started. It was my self, "Airboy" Micheal Grunge, "Hoodsie" Matty Hood and Ice Cream. Out of us four I am the only one still wrestling. "Hoodsie" just grew away from this business, "Airboy" started a family and just could not devote the time needed to do this any more and unfortunately Ice Cream had his own demons. The over came him and he is no longer with us. Every time I am in that ring though I know he is watching me. I feel him at my side. It makes me feel that the more I make it then he is making it also.He is one of the reasons I try so hard 3. What kind, if any, formal training did you have? I started off when I was younger watching tapes and reading books on how to take bumps and do holds. By the time I was 17 I thought I was already any expert. the I got "Trained" buy a guy in Maryland who will remain nameless. He taught me how to take a back bump, How to run the ropes and how to be eliminated from a battle royal and that was it. I didn't seem to care though because I thought I already knew everything. After my 1st match I worked like 20 battle royals in a row. That is where i met the Sensational One. He was my real first Trainer and he taught me so much. Then later I saw an add in my local Gym for the CZW Wrestling school. I trained there for a while and met some really awesome people. Except for one exception I have nothing but nice things to say about every one I met and worked out with at that school. John (Zandig) was a great guy and helped me out a lot. Dahmer was a great help also. Every one there was great.I called up S-1 and got him a shot in the company. He ended up being a 2time CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion. Then I got hurt around that time and blew out my knee. I needed Major surgery on it and it put me out for a good 2 years before I read that there was going to be a new NWA Promotion in New Jersey. I called up the Sensational One and he told me about the Divine One (who I wrestled before when he worked under the name Gemini ). That as how One in a Million was Born. We Tried out for NWA Over the Top and aced the audition. From that point forward we have been doing what we can to make a name for our selves 4. What promotions have you worked for and in what capacity? AS a Wrestler or a Manager I have worked Empire Wrestling Alliance, Evolution Wrestling-X, NWA Over the Top,World Wrestling Stars Alliance, Power House Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Xplosion, CZW, WcIcW... I know I am leaving some out but I can not think of them right now 5. What do you enjoy most about being in professional wrestling? I just enjoy living out my dream. This is what I wanted to do since I was 3 years old and I am doing it. How many people in this world get to say that? 6. What do you enjoy least about being in professional wrestling? Getting lost in New Jersey with two wrestlers from Maryland... Just kidding. I hate 2 things about Wrestling Politics and Name Wrestlers that take advantage of people. I hate when Promoters won't use a wrestler just because he worked another promotions shows, or when another worker gets in the ear of the promoter and makes things difficult for every one else but them selves. That is politics and That does not belong in Professional Wrestling. Leave that for the crooks in the Government. I really hate when a promoter Brings in a Big name worker and he rips him off. I say it happen last night in PA. A Name Wrestler worked a show ( and I use the term work loosely )He held up the promoter for more money, Wanted his Limo paid for because he did not like car they sent to pick him up, he showed up late, He charged people $10 to get pictures of him using your own camera and did not want to do anything but sell his Gimmicks and leave. He did not even do what he was brought in to do. If you are like that then do this business a favor and get out of it. You ruin it for all of us 7. Who are your favorite wrestlers or manager to watch? I Love watching Old School Ric Flair. he is the greatest of all time. I also like to watch old tapes of the Dynamite Kid. Out of todays Wrestlers I like watching Kurt Angle, Chris Beniot, Jerry Lynn and Low Ki. On the Indy's I Like to watch the Soul Brothers, Crazy (Skinhead) Ivan, Arcadia, here is just countless workers that I watch and enjoy learning from them 8. What has been the most memorable moment of your career thus far? Thus far, Hmmm I think it was the match with One in a Million ( the Sensational one and the Divine One )Taking on the Power Company Twins... We learned so much from working with them and the match we had stole the show on the NWA over the Top Card. We look forward to working them again in the future. They just made that match Special for us 9. When you aren't wrestling, what do you enjoy doing? Sleeping..lol.. I also enjoy watching wrestling. Going out with my friends and spending as much time as I can with my g/f Laura. I also enjoy watching the Greatest Hockey Team in the NHL, The New Jersey Devils 10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully in 5 years I will still be wrestling and hopefully am able
to do it full time and make a good living at it. I also hope that in 5
years One in a Million ( the Divine One and the Sensational One ) are
the longest reigning NWA World Tag Team Champions and considered the greatest
tag team in wrestling. I also want to be the NWA World Junior Heavyweight
Champion and if I am i will make every one forget all about the NWA TNA
