NWA TNA - June 25th

Show opens with a flashback to last week's action.
First match. For the NWA TNA Tag Team Titles, inside a 15 ft high steel cage. America's Most Wanted wins the Tag Title by defeating Triple X. Great match, once again, by both teams. Too much action to do justice to. Skipper hit a beautiful flying cross body off the top of the cage. Skipper went to the top again but was knocked out of the cage, to the floor. This allowed AMW to double team Christopher Daniels. Finish came when AMW hit the Death Sentence off the top of the cage for the pin.
Don West and Mike Tenay welcome us to tonight's show.
DLo Brown comes to the ring and enters the cage. He calls out AJ Styles. Styles enters the ring and DLo attacks him. AJ Climbs out of the cage but as he is climbing down, DLo throws himself into the cage, knocking AJ to the floor. DLo goes out and drags AJ back into the cage. A referee enters so this is now an "official" match. AJ fights back, using a chair on DLo. DLo comes back and hits a Sky High. DLo goes to the top of the cage but Vince Russo runs in with a bat. AJ throws a chair and knocks DLo down from the cage. Russo and AJ beat down DLo until Jarrett tries to make the save. Security prevets JJ from getting in the ring. Styles Clash on a chair and they leave DLo in the ring.
Outside the building, Shane Douglas attacks Julio. Julio goes for a superkick but Shane moves and Julio hits Alexis. Belly to Belly by Shane onto a guardrail. Shane enters the Asylum where he, once again, rants about how on August 27th, 1994, he threw 50 years of heritage in a garbage can. Now that he sees Raven trying to resurrect what he killed, he made a deal with the Devil and is now in TNA. Raven attacks. CM Punk tries to make the save to no avail. Glenn Gilberti attacks Raven. Jarrett and his guitar make the save.

The non sanctioned, Lights Out Match breaks loose outside between Jerry Lynn and Justin Credible. The fight their way through pick up trucks then finally into the Asylum. During the brawl they fight to the stage and Lollipop gets hurt. Lynn is able to roll up Credible for the pinfall. IN A LIGHTS OUT MATCH!!?? As Lynn checks on Lollipop, Credible attacks him, handcuffs him to Lollipop's cage, and nails him with some chairshots.
In the SEX locker room they discuss how Russo says they can no longer use the SEX name and that they want Shark Boy's mask.
In a non title match, Frankie Kazarian defeated Chris Sabin in a phenomenal bout. Some of the many highlights included a running release overhead throw off the top rope by Sabin, the Wave of the Future by Kazarian and the Flux Capacitator (a one man Spanish Fly) by Kazarian. Truly awesome match.
In the back, Goldylocks interviews Shane Douglas who challenges Raven and Jarrett to a tag match tonight.
Mike and Don recap what has happened thus far tonight before throwing it to a video package recapping the Kash v Watts feud.
Kid Kash def Erik Watts when "The Masked Monster" attacked Watts. Watts went for the E Bomb but Kash hit the claw on him. As he went for a second E Bomb, the ref got knocked down. Watts went to help the ref but was attacked from behind by "The Masked Monster".
The Interrogators was next. This week Konnan and Killings interrogate BG James, doing an awesome Don West impersonation. Hilarious!
Shark Boy is in the back, in his Shark Tank (kiddie pool). He convinced New Jack to hop in and do a ring toss with him.
In the Hard 10 Semi Final Match, Sandman def Sonny Siaki 11-9. Sandman was down 9-2. He batled back to make it 9-6 before coming off the top rope and going through Siaki, through a table to win 11-9. After the match, New Jack came out and they shared a beer before the destroy each other next week, in the finals.
Shark Boy is attacked, in his pool, by Mike Sanders.
Mike and Don tell us next week there will be the Hard 10 Finals, AMW defend against Young and Siaki. Jerry Lynn comes out and announces that next week it will be him and Justin Credible in a Russian Chain Match (remember the old days when the feuds ENDED with a lights out match? Now the start with them!). Also next week, Watts v "The Unknown Monster"
Goldy is in the back with Siaki who says, starting tonight...things are gonna change. Trinity comes out and chokes out Goldy.
The main event is next. Glenn Gilberti and Shane Douglas vs Raven and Jeff Jarrett. The 4 men brawl all over the Asylum. Raven seemed to hurt his ankle early in the match. Either that or he was selling it very well. Jarrett smashed the guitar over Glenn but the ref only counted 2. Shane hit a belly to belly on JJ, Raven Effect on Douglas. James Mitchell came to ringside. He entered the ring and threw a fireball in Raven's face causing the DQ. As Julio and Alexis ran in to help Raven, the show ended.
Overall, the cage match and Kazarian v Sabin match saved the show. These two bouts were phenomenal and they were given a good amount of time to do the match. The Shark Boy skits and the Konan/Killings/BG James skits are hilarious. Shane Douglas is still giving the same speech he has given since 1994. Shane, it's over... move on... memorize a new speech.. PLEASE!!
