Interview with Mia.

P.Staniforth 2006.

The 'Love Goddess' Mia is certainly in the eyes of many, the top female star in ACW, and here's what she had to say when I caught up with her recently.

PETEY) : Hi, thanks for making the time for this interview. Tell us a little about your childhood.

MIA) : Well, I had quite a good childhood, and with growing up around mainly boys meant I was able to learn how to defend myself.

PETEY) : When did you first view wrestling?

MIA) : I would say that was when I was about seven years old.

PETEY) : Did you know then you wanted to be a wrestler?

MIA) : No, it wasnt until I was about eleven years old, and then every time wrestling came on television, I just wanted to be in the ring.

PETEY) : How did you get your first break in the business?

MIA) : I started training with ACW, and when they thought that I was ready then they let me do my first show.

PETEY) : Who trained you to wrestle?

MIA) : Samson and Bull Harley.

PETEY) : What were your first matches like?

MIA) : They were very scary, but I got the hang of it quickly.

PETEY) : How would you describe yourself as a wrestler for those who may not know you?

MIA) : I would say I'm fun, I love to entertain and know how to look after myself in and out of the ring.

PETEY) : What is your favourite match that you™ve been involved in so far, and who have been your favourite opponents?

MIA) : My favourite match so far has to be when I took on Jade and The Players Club in Milton Keynes.

PETEY) : What do you like to do in your spare time?

MIA) : I love going to the gym, and doing anything that I can to get myself in better shape.

PETEY) : What five words would you feel describe you as a person best?

MIA) : Hyperactive, health freak, bouncy, loving, naughty.

PETEY) : What are your main plans for the future?

MIA) : Well, I hope to wrestle as much as I can in as many different places as possible, and also to hopefully make it over to America and wrestle over there.

PETEY) : What are your thoughts on WWE and TNA, and the UK and USA indy promotions?

MIA) : They are good to learn from, and also good entertainment.

PETEY) : Who do you like to watch and learn from?

MIA) : I like to learn from anyone who is willing to teach. To me, learning from those around you is the best way to learn something.

PETEY) : I agree, and feel you can never stop learning. Imagine that you're a promoter, what kind of show would you be looking to put on?

MIA) If I was promoting shows, then I would be looking to put on a show that will thrill people and encourage them to come and learn the ways of wrestling.

PETEY) : Where do you think you would be, if not for wrestling?

MIA) : I would be a total waste! Wrestling is the only thing that I'm good at, it's my entire life.

PETEY) : That I can relate to very well! So, to finish this up, is there anyone you'd like to thank?

MIA) : I would like to thank Samson and Bull Harley and all the
guys at ACW for helping me over the last year, and for making me feel welcome when i first started. I would also like to thank The 'Blonde Bombshell' Jade for helping me make myself known to other promotions.
