Longtime East Coast Wrestling Alliance wrestler Boogie Woogie
Brown died yesterday. The specific cause of death is unreported as of
now however, Brown had battled lupus for several years.
Boogie was one of the two main babyfaces (along with Cheetah Master)
in Jim Kettner's East Coast Wrestling Alliance ( based out of Delaware
and primarily known for holding the annual ECWA Super Eight). In addition,
Boogie wrestled for the now defunct Pennsylvania Championship Wrestling
out of Reading, PA.
Boogie was a former ECWA Tag Team Champion with Danny "Inferno Kid"
Gimondo, was twice ECWA Mid-Atlantic Champion, and served briefly as Commissioner.

Funeral services were announced for ECWA wrestler
Delance Clifford "Boogie Woogie Brown" Wright.
The services will take place this Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Mother
UAME Church, located at 501-701 East 5th Street,
Wilmington, DE.
Viewing will take place from 9:00-10:00 am, with services from 10:00
am to 11:00 am
