The contestants for the 2007 ECWA Super 8 Tournament have been announced and, as WrestlingClothesline.com does each year, we bring you interviews with the participants. First, we brought you Brian Fury. Now WrestlingClothesline.com is pleased to bring you "10 Questions With..." Rob Conway!!

1. What made you decide to get involved in professional wrestling?

I watched it on tv as a kid and went to uswa and wwf shows up until high school then i did not watch much from about 1988-1996 during that time i was into sports and lifting wieghts around 1995 people would come up to me and ask if i was a wrestler so i started watching it again. I loved watching it the NWO and DX i could not wait to watch Monday ,Thursday ,Saturday and i passed a sign on my way to work that said DANNY DAVIS SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING and here i am..

2. You have worked for promotions across the country, including the WWE (where you held the tag titles several times). How was your experience with the WWE? What was it like holding a title on three different occassions?

I had a great time with the WWE i made a good amount of money and traveled all over the world and met current and former superstars that i never thought i would get to meet. Winning the tag team championships was great it was a goal of mine that i reached and it put me on the map i believe that LA RESISTANCE was a great team.

3. You are a participant in this years' ECWA Super 8 Tournament. What was your reaction when being invited to wrestle in such a prestigious tournament?

Excited, i think it will be a lot of fun.

4. Prior to being invited to participate, had you heard of the Super 8 Tournament? If so, what did you think about it?

I heard about it in a wrestling magazine back in like 1998 i saw a picture of Scot taylor and Ace Darling and all the participants and thought it most be big, they are covering it in a magazine

5. Any thoughts on how you'll prepare physically for three possible matches in the Super 8?

I do cardio about 10 times a week at the gym and go to the track and do plyos and run bleachers a couple times a week always,so i may have to turn it up a notch for the next few weeks.

6. Having been in the buisness for 10 years, do you think that gives you an edge when you go into a tournament where the only other participant that has been in the business longer than you is Jerry Lynn?

I hope after 10 years that i have an edge.

7. If you could step in the ring with or against anyone (alive or dead) who would it be? Why?

To be honest i would want to wrestle who ever would pay the most to wrestle, i have already wrestled just about ever body in the business that wanted to , i would love to have wrestled MACHO MAN , ULTIMATE WARRIOR, LEX LUGER , BRET HART because i watched the on tv and have never met them.

8. How has the wrestling business changed since you started? Has it changed for the better or worse?

The business is physically more demanding now there are a lot more big bumps and high risk moves now that used to be reserved for high profile matches also i think it is a lot easier to get in the business now, there are guys with training schools now that have never made a name for themselves. Its no better or worse just different.

9. If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything about your career?

I would not change anything i have done, I wish i would have had more creative control over my character . .

10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself as the NWA world champion healthy and happy working out at the gym tanning doing some acting and tv commercials and in 10 years being the Mayor of New Albany IN.
