On Saturday, October 21st, Pro Wrestling Revolution returned to the Upper Room in Dix Hills with "Fright Night".
Ron and I decided that we would go to the show, mainly to see Johnny Thundar (whom we have not seen in over a year). I checked, double checked, and even asked someone who was running the show, and was told it began at 7:00pm. When we arrived and bought our General Admission ticket (only $10 so how could we resist) we were given a program. The program stated belltime was 7:30pm. Ugh. The show actually began at 7:45. Ugh Ugh. Why is it that only Jim Kettner shows seem to start on time, every time?
Your ring announcer, Joe Evak, who looks to have lost half of his body weight.
Your Timekeeper, Jesse Diamond (a 10 year old who had his own theme music).
Lamar Braxton Porter comes out and cuts a promo about the PWR title. The commissioner then comes out and in an attempt to take the mic away from Mike Trash, throws it out of the ring, breaking it. The mic gets semi fixed and out comes Justyn Glory. Long winded promo short.. tonight there will be a 4 way for the title.
As Joe prepares to announce the next match, two and a half men (Mayhem Inc.) attack some guy. Yes, that's right, some guy. The guy came out from the locker room a few minutes earlier and just hung by the wall in the back of the gym. He was attacked and dragged to the locker room.
Finally, the opening contest as Justin Cage defeats Jason Static with a roll up. Good opener with the ref counting three several times then saying it was only two. Ugh. Finally, the ref made a three count and actually declared Justin the winner.
Flames (with Blast) defeated Mike Magnum in what I thought was the match of the night. Tons of great highspots, brawling, outside the ring action, and some actual wrestling. At one point Blast, the face in the match, interferred and was told to leave ringside. Why is a face cheating? Flames rolled up Magnum for the pin but Magnum attacked Flames with a chair after the match.
TJ Crunk came out to a huge pop only to get laid out by Mayhem Inc and carried to the back. I found this simply hilarious as TJ was so over with the crowd and within a minute was out of the ring and back in the locker room.
Johnny Ova and Gary Reno (with Bobby Riedel and Mike Trash) were to face Luscious Joe Sloan and Johnny Thundar. Unfortunately, Thundar was injured and could not make the show (best wishes and a speedy recovery to Johnny). Sloan's partner instead would be Chris Forza. Forza got a damn good pop from the crowd as well. Match was mostly a comedy match that didn't showcase too much of Ova's actual ability. Sloan ends up hitting a Fishermanbuster on Ova for the win. Post match, Riedel goes to hit Sloan with a briefcase but Sloan ducks and Ova gets nailed instead.
Demolition Derby (a "talk show" segment with Blast) was next and he interviewed Queen Yasmine via her interpreter (as she doesn't speak). It ends up she is the sister of Samir Ahmed II and at one point in time he buried her alive. Thus, she is now back interferring in matches and causing him to lose.
Intermission sees Mayhem Inc attack Super Mario and a guy with a broom.
Donnie Bon Jovi defeated Samir Ahmed II when Queen Yasmine double hand chokeslam powerbombed Ahmed (while the ref was down).
Mayhem Inc came to the ring and challenged anyone to face them. The Macho Man (someone impersonating him quite well) and Nick Saint took the offer but were defeated in the end.
The four way match for the PWR Title was next as Lamar Braxton Porter was to face Justyn Glory, Red Hot Russ, and Busta Uppa. Before the match even began, Mike Trash got into a shoving match with the ref. The ref then ejected Porter from the match. WHAT? Ugh. Anywho, Busta is as over as TJ Crunk and ended up winning the belt by pinning Red Hot Russ while Justyn Glory basically stood at ringside and watched. (He was supposed to be busy with Mike Trash but I think he forgot to keep chasing him and decided to watch the finish).
It was announced that on Dec 16th, Queen Yasmine would face Samir Ahmed II in an Egyptian Tomb Match (which has the same rules as a casket match).
Immediately following the main event in which Busta won the titles, fliers were handed out for the November 11th show. The fliers (which were beautifully printed and must have been done several days, if not weeks in advance) have Gary Reno challenging Busta Uppa for the Heavyweight Title. Let's ignore the fact that Reno was on a losing team tonight and is now going for the promotions Heavyweight Title. Instead, how is it these fliers were ready to go so quicky after Busta JUST won the title? I all kayfabe dead?? Ugh. Also on the next show, Lamar Braxton Porter vs Justyn Glory in a lumberjack match; Donnie Bon Jovi vs Luscious Joe Sloan, and Flames against Johnny Ova for the International Championship.

For $10 you really can't beat it. The crowd (of about 200) was really into it. The fact that the best match on the show was basically a student match, tells you something about the students. There a laughs galore (intentional or not) and the food is cheap. Overall, Ron and I enoyed it and will probaly make our way back there in the future.

PWR Fright Night Results

PWR World Title Announcement: Fright Night began with an appearance from
the Former PWR World Heavyweight Champion Lamar Braxton Porter and Mike
Trash. Lamar wants to remind us just who he is. He is Lamar Braxton Porter
and he hails from the mean streets of Bel Air California. Last month at
Retribution, he was screwed out of the PWR Championship.
Trash then takes the mic and says that just like in Bel Air, you have
to take what you want. Trash and Lamar went back and had a NEW PWR Championship
belt made and he was going to show it to us. He opens the case, but the
belt is not in there.
Commissioner Peter Martin comes out and says that Lamar lost the title
fair and square and that the belt was back in the right hands… The
PWR Champion Justyn Glory comes out to a huge reaction from the crowd
and Lamar & Trash bail from the ring. The commissioner then announces
that tonight, there will be a fatal four way match for the PWR World Heavyweight
Championship! The participants will be Justyn Glory, Lamar Braxton Porter
Red Hot Russ and "The Original" Busta Uppa! What a Huge announcement!
Mayhem Inc’s Halloween Challenge I: Just as we are getting ready
for the opening contest, Armond de Muerto and Menace: Mayhem Inc hit the
arena… and they are attacking a stagehand by the ring entrance area.
Muerto and Menace beat him down and carry him back to the locker room.
Now, the night can begin!
Match #1 – Justin Cage vs. Jason Static
The Start: A collar and elbow tieup, and it is Static with a waistlock
takedown to start things off. Cage with a quick counter into a rolling
armbar that earns him a 1 count. Now Static rolls through and turns it
into a front face lock. Now it’s Cage with a counter and he has an
armbar applied, it’s countered back by Static and Cage is down on
the mat.
Mid Match Notes: Cage quickly kips up, but Static yanks him back down.
Cage kips up again, and Static turns it into a standing sideheadlock.
Now Static sends Cage for the ride and Static with a stiff shoulderblock
and Cage is down. Now Static comes off the ropes, he goes over Cage, and
Cage catches him with an Arm Drag. Now Cage follows up with a Japanese
Arm Drag. Cage scores with another takedown. Cage covers and gets a 2
count. Now Cage with a pair of rollups that only get 2 counts.
Both men are up on their feet as Cage wants a handshake, but Static, fed
up just kicks the hand away. Cage turns around to play for the crowd…
and Static catches him with a dropkick to the face for his trouble. Now
Static after a couple of right hands sends Cage for the ride, and Cage
comes off and takes Static over with a nice flying head-scissors! N Cage
with another head-scissors and Static ends up on the outside.
Cage goes out after him and Cage nails a chop to the chest of Static.
And now it’s Static with a counter and Static now rams Cage’s
head face first into the ring apron. Static with right hands, but here
comes Cage now and Cage has Static staggering. Cage goes up on the apron…
But Static yanks him off the Apron. No Cage goes back first into the apron.
Cage is don and in trouble.
Cage is thrown back inside the ring. Static comes in as well and Static
makes the cover for a near fall. Now Static picks up Cage and hits a beautiful
belly to back suplex. Another cover by Static, but Cage escapes at 2.
Now Static has a waist lock submission applied… Beautiful back bridge
as well… but Cage will not give it up. Now Static picks up Cage and
hits a beautiful Back Breaker. Another cover by Static and another near
fall.
Now Static with a knee to the back and the crowd is into this trying to
will Cage to get back in this match. Cage responds… he reverses the
hold… temporarily as Static turns it around and takes him down! Now
Static with an elbow to the top of the head… Oh. And a Stiff kick
to the small of the back! Now Static makes the cover, and Cage with a
kickout at 2. Another cover, and another kickout.
Now Static picks up Cage and sends him for the ride into the corner…
But Cage climbs the turnbuckles… A head fake by Cage… and Cage
comes off with a Twisting Corkscrew off the top and Both men are down!
At the count of 7, both men are up.
Both men exchanging right hands with Cage gaining the upper hand! Now
Cage sends Static for the ride, Static reverses… A double reversal
right into an excellent swinging neck breaker by Cage! Cage goes to the
top… He gets caught by Static… Static with a quick go-behind
and hits a German Suplex! A cover by Static… and Cage just kicks
out.
Static goes to the corner… he’s playing with the turnbuckle
pad… Meanwhile Cage goes to the top rope… Static comes in…
Cage with a Face Planter off the top! That should be it, a cover, 2 and…
NO! Static kicks out at 2 ½. Now Cage sends Static for the ride,
its reversed and Static catches Cage with a kick to the chest. Now Static
goes for a Death valley Driver… but Cage escapes into a sunset flip…
and Static escapes somehow at 2.
The Finish: Cage with a chop, now he sends Static for the ride, Cage ducks
the clothesline, but Static blocks the move by Cage, he turns it into
a Waist lock go behind… A Cradle by Static… and Cage JUST kicks
out at 2. Now it’s Static with rights. He goes for a suplex…
Cage blocks it… he hooks a cradle. 1-2…3! Cage wins.
Your Winner: Justin Cage

November 11th will be the next time your favorite PWR Superstars will

Match #2 – Mike Magnum vs. Flames
Before the Bell: Magnum makes his way out first and this crowd is really
giving it to him. And here comes Flames and it looks like Flames is not
coming alone as he has Blast with him. Oh man, here comes Magnum out to
meet him in the aisle way…
AND THE FIGHT IS ON!
This grudge has been building for months and now it comes to a head here
at Fright Night. They are just exchanging lefts and rights in the aisleway.
Magnum has taken control early and he grabs Flames and he rams him face
first into the steel steps. There is so much hatred here. Now Magnum picks
up Flames and slams him on the outside! Magnum now talking trash to Blast.
And here comes Flames right back. He nails Magnum with rights and Magnum
s rocked here. Flames calls for a Tornado DDT off the steps…
But it’s Magnum with a nice counter and hits a big suplex and Flames
crashes hard again on the outside of the ring. The ref is pleading with
Magnum to get into the ring. Magnum ignores the ref and picks up Flames
and rams him again face first into the ring apron. Finally Magnum throws
Flames into the ring and with that we finally have the bell and this match
is officially underway.
The Start: Now Magnum finally gets in the ring and continues to talk trash
to Magnum, this crowd and to Blast. Magnum now hits a couple of rights
and Flames is in some trouble now. Irish whip by Magnum, Flames ducks
the first clothesline… but Magnum gets him with the second one. Magnum
then scoops up Flames and hits a big backbreaker. Magnum into a cover,
but Flames is able to kick out.
Mid Match Notes: Now Magnum has a side headlock applied to Flames…
Flames back to his feet, and Flames reverses. Magnum though with a quick
counter into a swinging neck breaker. Magnum into another cover, and Flames
is able to kick out. Now Magnum choking Flames… a blatant choke hold…
the ref breaks it before the 5 count. Now Magnum picks up Flames and Flames
goes face first to the top turnbuckle.
Magnum sends Flames for the ride to the far corner. Here comes Magnum
charging in… And Magnum charges into the boot of Flames. Now it’s
Flames in control with a dropkick to the knee of Magnum. As Magnum gets
to his knees… Flames scores with a Shining Wizard to the back of
the head of Magnum. Flames follows up and scores with a leg drop. A cover
by Flames and a kickout at 2 by Magnum.
Flames applies an armbar… and goes up and over into a nice bridge!
Magnum grabs one of he legs and holds on, pulling Flames to his feet…
and Flames connects with an insugiri! Flames with a side headlock…
But it’s Magnum with a reversal into a side suplex. A cover by Magnum
gets a near fall.
Magnum now picks up Flames and scores with 3 hard rights, a stiff kick
and 2 chop that stagger Flames back into a corner. But here comes Flames
turning it around with rights, a kick and 3 chops of his own. Irish Whip
by Flames sends Magnum to the far corner. Flames is feeling the momentum
here! He goes up to the second rope, and starts punching Magnum. After
5 punches, Magnum carries Flames out and hits a big Spinebuster! A cover
by Magnum and Flames is able to kick out again.
Now Flames back up and he beats Magnum to the punch and he takes down
Magnum. Now Flames is going outside… Flames to the top… Shooting
Star Press by Flames, but Magnum rolls out of the way! This could be it
for Flames. What’s This? Magnum just went outside and shoved Blast!
Before Blast can retaliate, Magnum rolls back into the ring.
Flames back to his feet now as Magnum with an Irish Whip, it’s reversed
by Flames… And Blast just tripped Magnum! Blast now pulls Magnum
outside the ring! And Blast unloading with rights and chops galore! Blat
then throws Magnum back into the ring. Meanwhile, the ref goes outside
the ring and… The referee just ejected Blast from ringside!
Flames is looking down and he can’t believe what is going on. Blast
looks like he is going to destroy this referee… but he does not.
Meanwhile from behind, Magnum attacks Flames. The referee finally returns
to the ring after Blast exits. Meanwhile Magnum sends Flames for the ride,
Flames ducks the clothesline, but Magnum catches Flames with a high knee
to the face. Magnum picks up Flames for a piledriver… and holds him
up… finally Magnum connects with the piledriver. A cover by Magnum…
and Flames just kicks out at 2 ½.
Now Magnum with his leg on the throat of Flames… he breaks before
the 5 count to avoid the disqualification. Now Magnum with a reverse chin
lock to Flames with his knee in the back. A loud "Flames" Chant
breaks out as Flames gets back to his feet… a pair of rights breaks
the hold… Flames off the ropes, but Magnum catches him with a clothesline.
The Finish: Now Magnum drops an elbow and covers Flames for a near fall.
Both men fight their way to their feet… but Magnum with a chop block
to the left leg of Flames. Magnum goes for a spinning toe hold… But
Flames catches him in a cradle… 1-2-…3! Flames wins!
Your Winner: Flames
Time: 7:38
The Aftermath: Magnum cannot believe what has happened. Flames exhausted
in the ring begin to celebrate his big win. Magnum on the outside…
Magnum has a steel chair…
CRACK!
Magnum nails Flames with the chair right in the back! 4 more shots with
the chair and Flames is down and out on the mat. Now Magnum drops the
chair, and picks up Flames into a fireman’s carry… Magnum spins…
A TKO on the chair! Flames is out. This crowd is all over Magnum as he
leaves the ring. Flames is helped to the back.
Mayhem Inc’s Halloween Challenge II: We are getting set for T.J.
Crunk vs. Devastation. T.J. makes his way to the ring to a nice reaction.
As he gets in the ring, Mayhem Inc come charging out and they attack T.J.
for no reason at all! Armond hits a reverse DDT and Menace follows up
with a big splash off the ropes. Mayhem Inc then carry T.J. to the back.
Looks like we are not going to get this match after all.
Match #3 – "The Italian Sensation" Gary Reno (w/ Mike Trash)
& Johnny Ova [PWR International Champion] (w/Bobby Riedel) vs. Luscious
Joe Sloan & Johnny Thundar
Before The Bell: Bobby Riedel takes the mic and thanks us all for coming
out to see them tonight and reminds us that He and Johnny are still better
then each and every one of us. The International Champion then gets on
the mic and says that he received a phone call informing him that Johnny
Thundar had an accident and would be unable to wrestle tonight. But, Johnny
has a solution, he would be willing to go one-on-one with Luscious Joe
Sloan here tonight! He then quickly added "Of course, it’s non-title!"
Luscious Joe then comes out and he grabs the mic. Luscious the says that
yes, he received the same phone call. Luscious says that there would be
nothing better then for him to face Johnny Ova one-on-one here tonight!
However, Luscious says that will not happen because Luscious has found
a partner for the tag match…
Chris "Pain" Forza!
We now have Reno and Ova taking on Luscious and Forza! What a match this
should be
Forza comes out to a tremendous reaction!
The Start: Outside the ring, Reno, Ova and Both managers are huddled up
apparently to discuss strategy. They break up with Reno and Ova getting
up on the apron… And Luscious just dumped a bottle of water on the
heads of both Riedel and Trash! It looks like Chris Forza and Gary Reno
are going to start this match for their teams. Collar and elbow tieup,
with Reno forcing Forza back to the corner. Reno then gives a little shove
to Forza as they separate. They tieup again and this time, Forza forces
Reno back to the corner and Reno cowers in the corner… but Forza
breaks cleanly.
Mid Match Notes: Both men tieup again, and Reno hooks in a side headlock.
Forza sends Reno for the ride… Reno with a shoulderblock but both
stay on their feet. Reno tries it again, and again Forza remains on his
feet. Forza now comes off with a shoulderblock of his own and Reno is
staggered backwards and he stumbles for a moment. Forza now charges in…
but Reno with a side step and Forza is sent sailing over the top to the
floor...
At least that’s what Reno thought as Forza holds on to the top rope
and skins the cat back into the ring. Forza hits a dropkick and Reno is
sent to the outside. Johnny comes into the ring, but Forza sends him over
the top to the outside and Johnny lands on top of his partner! Both managers
regroup their team and Reno returns to the ring and Johnny to the apron.
Reno goes over and tags in the International Champion. Ova comes in and
there is no love lost here between Johnny and Forza. But Johnny wants
Luscious in the ring, not Forza. After a brief moment, Forza makes the
tag and Luscious is in there to face Johnny. Upon making the tag, Johnny
promptly bails to the outside seemingly unwilling to lock up with Luscious.
After a few moments, Johnny gets back in the ring.
Johnny and Luscious tieup, and Johnny catches Luscious with a knee to
the mid section, followed by a hard right hand. Johnny sends him for the
ride… Luscious ducks the clothesline and dicks outside the ring.
He lands behind Riedel and Trash… and Luscious with a double noggin-knocker
to both managers! Now the chase is on with Riedel, Trash, Johnny and Reno
in pursuit of Luscious… Luscious cuts through the ring and escapes
leaving Reno and Johnny in the ring… from behind here comes Forza
and Forza with a double noggin-knocker to Reno and Johnny! Clotheslines
by Forza and Luscious and The International Champion and The Italian Sensation
land outside the ring again!
Johnny gets back into the ring and is met by a right from Luscious. He
sends Johnny for the ride and hits a back body drop. Luscious makes the
tag to Forza and Forza nails a shot to a wide-open Johnny. Forza now with
an arm wringer and goes round and round into an armbar. Johnny works through
the hold and makes his way up to his feet. He sends Forza for the ride…
it’s reversed… and Forza with an armdrag to Johnny as he comes
back in. Another armdrag and Forza has an armbar applied.
Back to their feet, Forza has the arm wringer applied… Tag is made
and Luscious comes in an he goes to work on the arm of Johnny with an
elbow. Now Luscious with an arm wringer that takes Johnny down to the
mat. Luscious now with a leg drop to the arm. Luscious picks Johnny up
with the arm wringer still applied and Luscious makes the tag to Forza.
Forza comes in and continues to attack the arm of the International Champion.
Irish whip by Forza… and Forza scores with a dropkick! A cover by
Forza, he hooks the leg but Johnny kicks out at 2. A Front face lock applied
by Forza now and he makes the tag to Luscious. Luscious comes in and connects
with a kick to the wide open Johnny. Luscious then connects with a European
Uppercut, but Johnny is somehow able to create some distance with a thumb
to the eye. Johnny hooks a front face lock and Johnny finally makes a
tag to Reno.
Reno comes in with kicks and punches to Luscious. He sends Luscious for
the ride and catches him with a clothesline. Reno hooks the arm and hits
a side kick to the chest. Now Reno with stomps, kicks and an elbow to
Luscious. Reno then sends Luscious for the ride… but Johnny with
a low bridge and Luscious is sent over the top to the outside.
Reno out after Luscious and he is taking the fight to him. Forza is with
the ref and ther ef is yelling at Forza to get back in his corner. Meanwhile,
Johnny is in the ring…
AIR OVA!
Johnny with a leaping somersault plancha over the top to the outside wiping
out both Reno and Luscious! Not to be outdone, Forza comes over he leaps…
a headfake by Forza…
ASAI MOONSAULT!
Forza wipes out everyone! Reno is up to his feet and he decks Forza with
a right hand. The ref is down there to restore order. Reno throws Luscious
back into the ring. Reno makes the tag and Johnny is back in there. A
double Irish whip and both Reno and Johnny connect with a double elbow
to Luscious. Cover by Johnny gets a near fall.
Johnny sends Luscious for the ride and he connects with a spin kick. Johnny
to the apron now and he connects with a leg drop over the ropes from the
outside to the inside landing on top of Luscious. Another cover by Johnny,
and again, Luscious is able to kick out. Johnny now comes over and slaps
Forza. Forza charges the ring, but again the referee restrains Forza and
tells him to return to his corner. Meanwhile, Johnny drags Luscious to
their corner, and Reno, Trash and Riedel triple team him in the corner.
Now it’s Johnny with knees and kicks to Luscious in the corner. He
sends Luscious for the ride… but Luscious instead of hitting the
corner, jumps up to the second rope… a headfake by Luscious…
And Luscious comes off with a flying crossbody into a pin.. but Reno breaks
up the count. Johnny now makes the tag to Reno.
Reno comes in and sends Luscious for the ride and catches Luscious with
a sidewalk slam. A Cover by Reno gets a 2 count. Reno now picks up Luscious
and nails a hard right… and Luscious responds… a slugfest is
developing here between Luscious and Reno… but Reno with a thumb
to the eye takes the upper hand. Reno now with 3 chops and Luscious is
in trouble again. He sends Luscious for the ride to the far corner…
But Reno misses a splash in the corner. Can Luscious take advantage?
Reno tags in Johnny… Luscious tags in Forza! Forza is a house on
fire as he hits clotheslines and dropkicks to both Reno and Ova. Forza
tags in Luscious and now all four men are in there. Luscious has Johnny
in one corner, and Forza with Reno in the other corner. Both men climb
up and hit the "10" punches with the crowd counting each punch.
The Finish: Both men hit atomic drops and Reno is sent to the outside.
Forza out after him. Meanwhile in the ring, Luscious scoops up Johnny
and hits a fisherman’s buster. A cover by Luscious - 1-2…3!
Forza and Luscious pick up the win!
Your Winners: Luscious Joe Sloan & Chris "Pain" Forza
Time: 16:15
The Aftermath: Reno hits the ring after knocking out Forza outside the
ring and Reno takes down Luscious. Now Trash and Riedel hit the ring as
well. What’s going on here? Riedel takes out a wad of money and hands
it to Trash and Reno. What is going on here? After taking the money, Trash
and Reno leave.
Riedel now looks at Johnny and tell him to hit Luscious. Johnny is a little
hesitant to do so… Riedel just slaps Johnny in the face! He then
takes out more money and then yells at Johnny to Hold Luscious while he
hits him. After a few moments, Johnny takes the money and holds Luscious.
Riedel has the briefcase and goes to hit Luscious…
But he misses! Riedel hits Johnny instead! Luscious is up now an he chases
Riedel to the back before anymore damage could be done. Forza is helped
to the back and Johnny is left out there… all alone. He takes his
belt and you can see, Johnny is fuming right now. Johnny leaves as well.
Demolition Derby: Here comes Blast for tonight’s edition of the Demolition
Derby. Blast states that he has been liking forward to talking with our
guest ever since she arrived in PWR and why she has made it her business
to interfere with the career of Samir Ahmed II. Here is our Guest: Queen
Yasmine.
The Queen makes her way to the ring to a big ovation from the crowd…
and she is not coming alone. Her attendant opens the ropes for her and
she is now in the ring. Blast welcomes her to the show and then asks her
why she has chosen to throw a wrench into the career of Samir Ahmed.
Yasmine tells something into the ear of her attendant. The Attendant tells
us that she finds Samir Ahmed unacceptable. Blast says ok that’s
fine but why has she gotten involved in every match Samir has had. Yasmine
again whispers to her attendant who then tells us that Yasmine is Samir
Ahmed’s brother! And that back in the Valley of the Kings, Samir
buried Yasmine alive! Now Yasmine has traveled all the way to the PWR

After Blast thanked her for being on the show, Yasmine once again whispered
something to her attendant. The Attendant spoke for the last time saying
that Samir would be seeing the Queen again later tonight! This does not
bode well for Samir’s match against Donnie Bon Jovi.
Mayhem Inc’s Halloween Challenge III: We have now reached intermission.
All of a sudden, Mario and a ring sweeper come out. Mario starts jumping
around and the sweeper starts sweeping up the ring. Out of nowhere, Mayhem
Inc for the 3rd time tonight hit the ring and start a beatdown on Mario
and the ring sweeper. Menace hits a huge spear on Mario while Armond de
Muerto does the same to the ring guy. Menace hits a splash on Mario while
Armond drops 2 Leg drops on the sweeper. Bones, Mayhem Inc’s manager
then pins Mario as Menace counts the 1-2-3. Mayhem Inc then throw Mario
from the ring and carry him to the back.
Halloween Costume Contest: After intermission we had our Halloween costume
contest. Everyone in costume lined up in front of the ring and the audience
judged. Costumes ranged from a ninja and Batman to Matt and Jeff Hardy
to Paul Bearer. The winner was a man who dressed up like PWR Superstar
"The Original" Busta Uppa. This fan wins ringside tickets to
the next PWR event to be held on Saturday November 11th at the Upper Room.
Match #4 – "Supernatural" Samir Ahmed II vs. Donnie Bon
Jovi (w/"Rockin" Brian John)
The Start: Both men tieup and it’s Donnie starting off with a waist
lock go-behind, into a side headlock. Samir reverses and ends up in a
front face lock. Donnie grabs the arm and reverses out of it into an arm
wringer. Samir reverses it… Donnie does the roll/Kip up to reverse
it back. Samir sends Donnie for the ride and Samir with a shoulderblock
to send Donnie down to the mat.
Mid Match Notes: Samir now off the ropes, a leapfrog by Donnie and Donnie
takes Samir down with a hiptoss. A pair of armdrags later and Donnie is
in control with an armbar. Samir working the hold and he makes it back
to his feet and Samir nails Donnie with a pair of right hands. He sends
Donnie for the ride and he catches him with a knee to the mid section.
Samir then taunts this crowd who send nothing but boos back towards him.
Samir now with a blatant choke hold but he breaks before the 5 count.
Samir off the ropes and he drops a headbutt on Donnie’s mid section.
Samir into a cover that gets a 2 count. Now Samir with a knee to the back
of Donnie. Brian John is encouraging the crowd to cheer Donnie on. Donnie
makes it back to his feet and he nails Samir with a pair of rights…
and Donnie into a quick rollup… but Samir kicks out. A rolling cradle
by Donnie again, and again Samir is able to kick out.
Donnie sends Samir for the ride… Samir counters the clothesline into
a float-over DDT! Samir now with a cover, 2 and… Donnie gets the
shoulder up. Now Samir after a couple of elbows picks up Donnie and throws
him to the outside. Samir out after him and Samir plants Donnie fact first
into the ring apron…. Samir now with a flying forearm to Rockin Brian
John!
But Samir should have paid attention to Donnie as he picks up Samir…
Ooh, that’s gonna hurt! Donnie "Splits" Samir around the
ringpost! Donnie throws Samir back in… and he covers him, 2 and…
Samir kicks out. Now Donnie picks him up and is trying for a suplex…
Samir blocks and Samir hits a suplex of his own. Samir cover him, 2 and…
Donnie just kicked out at 2 ½.
Reverse chin lock by Samir… Donnie could be going out here. The arm
drops once… it drops twice… but it stays up the third time.
Donnie with a pair of elbows to the mid section to break it up. Donnie
briefly has a side headlock, but Samir shows his strength and picks him
up… He’s going for the Niledriver… And it’s Donnie
with a counter into a nice neck breaker and both men are down!
After a 4 count, both men are on their feet… but not for long as
Donnie hits dropkicks that sends Samir down. Donnie now with a spin kick
and Samir is in trouble here. Donnie sends Samir for the ride and Donnie
connects with a dropkick! Donnie covers him… but Samir is able to
kick out once again. Now Donnie hits a Full nelson slam. That could do
it here as Donnie cover Samir again… Samir just kicked out. That
was close.
Now it’s Donnie with a sleeper… but Samir counters with a jawbreaker.
Now Samir is going up to the top… And Samir connects with a big splash
off the top! Cover by Samir, 2 and… NO! Donnie kicks out at 2 ½.
What a match this is. Now Samir picks up Donnie and sends him for the
ride to the far corner… Samir connects with a flying punch in the
corner. Samir again sends Donnie for the ride to the other side, Donnie
reverses it… Samir drops down, and Donnie inadvertently splashes
the referee n the corner.
Samir takes advantage and… there it is! The Niledriver connects…
but there’s no referee to make the count. Oh My! The music of queen
Yasmine hits and Samir’s face is in total shock! Yasmine comes out
with her attendant and Yasmine enters the ring to staredown her brother.
Samir charges Yasmine who ducks and as Samir comes off the ropes Yasmine
hits Samir with a Side Slam! This crowd is going crazy! Yasmine now hits
a Flatliner DDT and Samir is out in the ring! With her damage done for
the evening, Yasmine and her attendant leave the arena.
The Finish: With Yasmine gone, Donnie crawls over and makes the cover.
The referee is conscious… 1….2…3! Donnie picks up a HUGE
win!

The Aftermath: Samir is very upset and frustrated that Queen Yasmine has
cost him yet another match. He slams his staff down and leaves the ring.
Before exiting the arena he sees a Queen Yasmine sign and tears it in
half.
Mayhem Inc’s Halloween Challenge IV: Well for the fourth time tonight,
Armond de Muerto, Menace and Bones make their way to the ring. This time,
Muerto takes the mic and says that they are tired of just beating people
up and they want some competition… they don’t care from what
era they are from, they want a match…
What in the world… It’s the "Macho Man" Randy Savage….
Ok so it’s really Bobby Barretta dressed up as the Macho Man but
hey, it’s Halloween! Barretta says OOOOH YEAH! (Not a bad Savage
if I do say so myself) From out of nowhere… the newcomer Nick Saint
comes to the ring and climbs to the top rope… and he nails a double
dropkick to Mayhem Inc and they both roll to the outside. Looks like the
bell sounded so we got us an impromptu tag team match:
Match #5 – Bobby Barretta & Nick Saint vs. Mayhem Inc.
The Start: Nick Saint and Armond de Muerto will start things off…
and it’s Muerto with kicks to Saint to begin things here. Armond
sends Saint for the ride, Saint ducks the clothesline… he ducks another
one… and both men with stereo dropkicks… Both men are at a standoff.
Mid Match Notes: Now both men are back to their feet. Collar and elbow
tieup and it’s Saint with a Side headlock… into a takeover and
a cover by Saint and Armond rolls out at 2. Armond now back to his feet
still in the headlock… until a couple of rights break it up. Armond
sends Saint for the ride into the corner… Armond charges in….
right into the boot of Saint… Saint grabs Armond… and hits a
tornado DDT off the second rope.
Saint makes the tag and Barretta is in there… and he’s going
up to the top and he connects with a double axe handle! Now Barretta with
3 hard left hands followed by an elbow to the head of Armond. Barretta
sends him for the ride, and he nails Armond with an elbow to the head..
but Armond is still on his feet… at least he was because Barretta
hits a big clothesline and Armond is down again.
Tag made as Saint comes back in there and connects with an elbow to a
wide open Armond. Saint going for a suplex… Armond blocks it…
and hits a suplex of his own. Armond makes the tag and Menace gets in
there for the first time. Now Menace with a hard left hand. Now Menace
picks up Barretta for a suplex… now holding him with one arm…
And Menace finally hits the suplex. Menace into the cover for a two count.
Menace now biting Barretta… and he breaks it up. Menace drops a headbutt
to the sternum. Menace picks up Saint… but Saint showing signs of
life as he nails Menace with lefts of his own. Saint sends Menace for
the ride, and he connects with a clothesline… but Menace is still
up on his feet. Menace then floors Saint with a short clothesline.
Menace then picks up Saint… and drops him face first to the mat!
Now Menace rakes the eyes of saint… breaking before the 5 count.
Menace again rakes the eyes… and again breaking before the 5 count.
Menace with a taunt… and that’s the opening Saint needed as
he unloads with lefts and kicks to Menace. Saint off the ropes, and he
connects with a dropkick to the knee. Now Saint drops an elbow to the
knee.
Saint makes the tag and Barretta comes in… Barretta and Saint take
one of Menace’s legs… and the wishbone! Now Barretta drops an
elbow to the leg of Menace. He sets up Menace’s leg on the rope and
he drops down on the leg. Barretta then going for a body slam… but
Barretta can’t slam him… Menace falls on him into a cover and
Barretta kicks out. Now Menace choking Barretta with his own bandana.
After he breaks Menace blows his nose in the bandana. Menace sends Barretta
for the ride, and he catches him with a sidewalk slam. Menace covers him,
and Barretta kicks out.
Front face lock by Menace and he makes the tag to Armond. Armond comes
in and unloads with kicks to the chest and mid section. Armond sends Barretta
for the ride, and it’s Barretta with a reversal and a takedown. Barretta
makes the tag and Saint goes to the second rope and he connects with an
elbow. Now Saint applies a single leg Boston Crab. Armond is able to roll
out of it. He then beats Saint to the punch with a pair of rights. Armond
makes the tag and Menace comes in. Menace again rakes the face of Saint.
Menace follows up with lefts and chops. Bones is now up on the apron…
Saint rolls through the legs and tags in Barretta… but the referee
won’t allow the tag because he was with Bones getting him down from
the apron. There was no tag made as Armond is in there now. Armond with
a knee to the back of Saint holding his arms back… Saint struggles
to get up… and it’s Saint climbing the ropes and coming off
with an armdrag.
Saint crawling to the corner… Armond with the tag to Menace…
and Menace cuts off Saint. Menace scoops up Saint and he hits a running
powerslam. Cover by Menace and Saint able to kick out. Now it’s Menace
again with a huge belly-to-belly suplex! Menace then says "One more."
And Menace this time with an overhead head and arm suplex. Menace with
a tag to Armond.
Armond sends Saint for the ride to the corner… Menace drops down,
and Armond runs, jumps off Menace and hits a splash. Snapmare by Armond
and a reverse chinlock applied… Saint refuses to give up… 2
elbows break it up… Saint scoops up Armond and slams him. Saint now
going to the top… but Armond catches him and Saint gets crotched.
Armond goes up…
Armond nails a hurricanrana! Armond landed in a heap and he looks hurt
Armond crawling over and he makes the cover… 1, 2, … Saint kicks
out. Armond crawls and tags Menace… but Saint makes the tag to Barretta.
It’s Barretta and Menace going at it with Menace getting the better
of the exchange. Menace charges in… but Barretta sidesteps and Menace
goes over the top.
Barretta to the top… and he hits a double axe to the back. Armond
now climbs to the top… and Armond hits a double clothesline taking
out Barretta and Menace. Saint now gaining a head of steam… and Saint
hits a crossbody over the top taking out all three men. All four men are
down. Barretta throws Menace back into the ring. Barretta going to the
top and he hits he flying elbow!
The Finish: A cover by Barretta, 2 and… Bones is in there and he
breaks it up… The ref once again goes to get Bones out of the ring…
and Menace just hit a low blow. Armond back in there… A slam/neck
breaker by Mayhem Inc. Cover by Menace 1…2…3! Mayhem Inc wins!
Your Winners: Mayhem Inc.
Time: 16:30
The Aftermath: Menace then hits a Powerbomb on Barretta. Bones then leads
Mayhem Inc away from the ring.
Commissioner Peter Martin makes his way to the ring. At PWR Christmas
Carnage December 16th, Queen Yasmine will be taking on Samir Ahmed II
in an Egyptian Tomb Match! The Commissioner will be seated at ringside
for the main event… Speaking of which, it is now time for the main
event of the evening… The PWR World Heavyweight Championship is on
the line next!
Main Event – Fatal Four Way Match for the PWR World Heavyweight Championship:
Justyn Glory (c) vs. Lamar Braxton Porter (w/Mike Trash) vs. Red Hot Russ
vs. "The Original" Busta Uppa
Before the Bell: As the referee is raising the belt, Lamar and Trash try
to grab the belt and actually push the referee to the mat. The Referee
then tells something to ring announcer Joey Evak and he tells us that
the Referee has ejected BOTH Mike Trash and Lamar Braxton Porter! The
PWR World Heavyweight Championship will now be contested in a Triple Threat
Match with Red Hot Russ, "The Original" Busta Uppa and the Champion
Justyn Glory.
The Start: This is now anyone’s match. The first man to score a pinfall
or submission will win the title and the Champion does not have to be
involved in the decision. Major disadvantage for Justyn here. In the ring
now, it looks like Busta and Glory are making a pact to take out Red Hot.
As they go to attack him, Justyn blindsides Busta and Red Hot with a shot
to Justyn. Red hot sends Glory for the ride and Red Hot with an elbow
to the Champion. Red Hot now picks up Busta and sends him for the ride
and connects with a clothesline. Red Hot in control early on in the match.
Mid Match Notes: Now it’s Glory back up and a succession of rights…
and Busta now joins in. Double Irish Whip by Busta and Glory and a Double
clothesline and Red Hot lands on the outside! From behind, Glory rolls
up Busta… and Busta kicks out at 2. Glory looking at Busta…
Glory now to the outside… No, Busta cuts him off and rolls him up…
and the Champion kicks out at 2. And again. Glory and Busta staredown
each other.
Glory and Busta tieup, and Glory with a side headlock… and Glory
turns in into a hammerlock. Busta counters it into a side headlock. Glory
sends Busta for the ride… Busta ducks the clothesline and grabs hold
of Glory… Crucifix pin… the champion kicks out at 2. Red Hot
back in there, and he hits a big Spinebuster on Busta. A cover by Red
Hot and Busta is able to kickout.
Now it’s Red Hot stomping on the leg of the Champion. Now Red Hot
going to work on the leg of Glory. Another cover by Red Hot and another
near fall for one of the challengers. Red Hot with the leg of the Champion…
and it’s Red Hot with a leg drag and the Champion ends up on the
outside.
Busta back to his feet and he nails a right to Red Hot. The Champion back
on the apron now… Busta sends Red hot for the ride, Red Hot reverses
and Busta crashes into Glory and Busta is taken down by Red Hot. Now red
Hot rams Busta’s head into the top turnbuckle. Now pair of chops
by Red Hot to the chest of Busta. Irish whip, reversed by Busta…
and Busta follows in and connects with a Monkey Flip out of the corner.
Now it’s the champion back in there with a right hand to Red Hot.
But Red Hot catches Justyn with a kick and the champion is staggered.
Meanwhile here comes Busta… A Swinging DDT! A cover, 1, 2, New champion….
No. The champion breaks it up We would have had a new champion there.
Now it’s the champion with a succession of right hands to Busta followed
up by a big time back breaker. A Cover to Busta, 2 and Busta kicks out.
Now Justyn turns to Red Hot and he sends him for the ride and drops him
with a clothesline. The champion picks Red Hot up and connects with a
side Russian leg sweep. Glory gives a thumbs down… He picks up Red
Hot… and He connects with a sit down Powerbomb! That will be all,
a cover, 2 and… Busta just breaks up the 3 count.
Glory now picks up Busta and throws him to the outside and Busta landed
hard on the outside. Now the champion back to Red Hot but Red Hot is back
up and catches Glory with a knee to the mid section. Irish whip by Red
Hot and a takedown by Red Hot. A cover and the champion kicks out at 2.
Now Red Hot locks in a spinning toe hold…but glory kicks out and
Red Hot goes shoulder first into the ringpost. Red Hot turns around…
into a DDT from the champion! Cover by Glory, and Red Hot kicks out. Reverse
chin lick applied by the champion. Red Hot makes it to his feet, a pair
of elbows breaks the chinlock. He goes to send Glory for the ride but
yanks the hair of Glory and the champion lands hard on the canvas. A cover
by Red Hot and Glory kicks out.
Reverse chin lock now applied by Red Hot… Glory fighting up…
2 elbows break it up… Glory off the ropes, but Red Hot with a running
drop toe hold. Red Hot with an Ankle Lock! He’s got it lock in center
of the ring. Glory fighting to get to the ropes… Busta is finally
up on the apron now… Red Hot drags Justyn back to the center of the
ring… It looks like the Champion is going to tap out…
Busta with a slingshot reverse crossbody to the back of Red Hot! What
a move by Busta. Busta covers Red Hot 1…2… Red Hot kicks out.
Now Busta covers the champion 1….2…. Justyn kicks out. Now it’s
Busta with a air of elbows to the champion, and he applies a front face
lock to try and wear him down… Red hot comes over and Busta is ready
for him with a kick to mid section. Irish whip by Busta, it’s immediately
reversed into a side Russian leg sweep by Red Hot. Glory with a tackle
to Red Hot and both men spill to the outside.
Glory ends up back first into the steel barricade. AIR BUSTA! Busta with
a cannonball from the apron on top of Red Hot! Busta taking advantage
and throws Red Hot back in… Busta with a cover, the title is on the
line… 1…2…NO! Another close near fall as Red Hot kicks
out again. Busta now hits a big suplex. Another cover by Busta but Red
Hot kicks out again. Cross arm breaker by Busta… Red Hot is going
to tap… new champion in a moment… Justyn to the top… and
he hits a big leg drop on Busta.
The Finish: Wait a minute here… Mike Trash is making his way to the
ring… I thought he was thrown out of here. Justyn Hits the Wrath
of Glory on Red Hot! That should do it here… 1…2… Mike
Trash pulls Justyn out of the ring… and the chase is on. Glory chases
Trash to the back. Meanwhile in the ring… Red Hot goes over to Busta…
Busta rolls him up….1… Justyn running back to the ring…2….
I don’t think he’s going to make it….
3! IT’S OVER! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION! BUSTA DID IT!
Your Winner and NEW PWR World Champion: "The Original" Busta

The Aftermath: The Upper Room has erupted with cheers and yells as Busta
is handed the belt and the look on his face is pure ecstasy! The now former
champion Glory is now in the ring. Here comes Luscious Joe Sloan and Flames.
Busta and Glory face to face… and Glory shakes the hand of the new
champion and the celebration is on! Busta takes the mic and announces
that the next PWR Event Saturday Night, November 11th has now been christened:
PWR "Bustin’ It Up!" What a night we have had here at the
Upper Room! We have a new PWR Champion: "The Original" Busta
Uppa!
