Benefit event for the Our Lady of Fatima Class of 2007
1. "Revolution" Chris Venom pinned Warren's own Rocco Abruzzi.
Venom was
holding on to the ropes, while sitting on Rocco's face.
2. Brandon Locke & B.K. Jordan beat Bryce Andrews & Mike Bennett.
B.K. pinned
Bryce after a flying splash from the top rope.
3. Michael Sain pinned "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi. Lombardi
worked on Sain's
previously injured left leg for most of the match. The end featured Lombardi
hitting Sain in the throat with brass knuckles behind the referee's back.
Lombardi went for another punch with the weapon, but Sain was able to
block
it, and finished Lombardi off with the Psycho Driver.
4. Tag Team Champs Dan Freitas & "Trouble Walkin" Thom
Kane beat Sid Momentum
& Louie Barboza to retain the titles.
5. Chunky But Funky (D.J. Baron & Panther Martin) beat The Elite
(Preston
Patrick & Christian Angers with Marshall McNeil) in a Disco Inferno
match. As
per the stipulation, The Elite were forced to dance after the match.
Intermission for Polaroids and autographs with various EPW stars.
6. "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion pinned Slash Sullivan after
a flying splash
off the top rope.
7. The Trendsetters (Handsome Johnny & Max Bauer) & "The
Egomaniac" Johnny
Idol beat Steam Roland Martinelli, Ian Conley, & "The Giant"
Rob Araujo in a
six man tag team match.
8. Jon Thornhill (in his EPW return) won the first-ever Inside Out Battle
Royal. The match started with the wrestlers outside the ring, and the
first
ten to get in the ring would continue the match. Other participants that
started outside the ring were: Preston Patrick, Christian Angers, Sid
Momentum, Owen Graichen, Handsome Johnny, Paul Lombardi, Bryce Andrews,
Louie
Barboza, Johnny Idol, Mike Bennett, Grayson Alexander, The Fire Cat, D.J.
Baron, Panther Martin, The Big Chicken, Brandon Locke, and B.K. Jordan.
The
finish featured Thornhill kicking Mike Bennett from behind, which forced
him
over the top rope. Bennett blamed me for his defeat!! He yelled to me
"It's
all your fault ShawnO!!" as he left the ring.
9. Our Lady of Fatima High School Senior Ray Diamond (with Natalia) pinned
Heavyweight Champ Brutal Bob Evans in a non-title match. Evans was given
the
opportunity to defend the belt tonight, but refused. Diamond got the pinfall
victory after hitting Evans with the Diamond Cutter. It appeared Evans
had his
foot on the bottom rope while being pinned, but the referee didn't see
it.
