The Best of Kayla Sparks DVD

The first thing I noticed about the DVD was the music playing while scrolling through the menus. Songs like "I'm Just a Girl", " Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", "Ladies' Night", and "We Got The Beat" could not have been chosen at random. Already I was impressed that some thought was actually put into that.
The first match is from 24-7 Wrestling and features Kayla and Tony Mamaluke vs Charisma and Kid Justice. I always knew Mamaluke was a small guy but, standing next to Kayla, you can see just how small he is! He's nearly the same size! Good match (for a mixed tag. which I'm not a huge fan of) with Kayla taking much of the beating until the hot tag is made to Mamaluke.
Up next is a Royal Rumble style bout from 24-7 wrestling with Kayla v IQ Modern v Mike O'Haire v big Buff Basted. Actually, as far as Battle Royals go, this one was fairly entertaining.
Kayla v Travis N Tomb was the next match.
From WOHW's WrestleFest 2004 Kayla took on Miss DeVille. This bout was
a women's title match. The match started off with some very nice chain
wrestling followed by each lady getting some offense in. The finish saw
Miss DeVille hit her Swanton for the pinfall.
Kayla and Timmy Tasteless v Miss DeVille and Steve Kruz is up next. DeVille entered he ring, laid out some cardboard and began break dancing. Great stuff! Timmy is actually SMALLER than Kayla! Very funny tag match that saw Kayla's team get the victory.
From SummerFest 2004, a rematch with Kayla v Miss DeVille. Another great match between the two women.
Next up, Barbie defeats Kayla for the WOHW Women's title.
From WOHW's Halloween show, The Next Generation of Commander Kayla and AI Takei took on Shaggy and Scooby. If seeing Kayla and her partner in TNG uniforms isn't enough for you, picture then wrestling a guy in a Scooby Doo costume!!
We then see Kayla Sparks do a run in at a W# show and challenge Barbie to a match. This leads to a Women's Title Match between the two. The match is quite good and the challenge gives you a chance to see some of Kayla's mic work.
The Diva Killaz took on the Olsen Twins next. The Olsen Twins are two guys that are not very impressive looking. The pre match prayer by Kenny Casanova and the post match dancing by he and the Diva Killaz were hilarious.
The Diva Killaz vs Mike Pizzazz and Reed James was next. Once again, Kenny's pre show prayer was a highlight.
The Kiss of Death (Luscious Lily and Della Morte) vs the Diva Killaz was up next. Lily verbally abused some innocent fan in the front row prior to the match. The back of Frank's head was in the lower left corner of the screen for most of the match and was very distracting! LOL. The match itself was very good and was one of the first times the fans in NJ were exposed to the Diva Killaz.
We then saw a run in where all the women on the JWA show that evening ran in after the Cindy Rogers v Ariel match. The brawl then spilled to the floor and the women fought to the back.
Next up, in WOHW, The Diva Killaz and Barbie challenge Danger to a match. Good mic work by the DK's. A little long winded on the part of their opponent.
The final match on the DVD saw Danger take on Kayla, DeVille, and Barbie. This was reminiscent of the old WWF matches when Andre would face Johnny Rodz, Frankie Williams, and Rene Goulet all at the same time. Danger was huge and was facing all three women at one time. However, unlike an Andre match, Danger did the job and got pinned by Kayla after some outside interference.
In addition to the 16 matches and promos, the DVD includes a Bonus Slideshow that features Promo photos of Kayla, Kayla and her Friends, In the Ring photos, and GLORY Con photos as well.
Overall, a very enjoyable DVD. A must have for any Kayla or Diva Killaz
fan. To see the progress Kayla has made (as well as the Diva Killaz) in
such a short period of time is a testament to her dedication.
