I wasn't planning on, nor did I want to, do one of these damn recaps. However, when I arrived home and had more emails asking me about Vegas than I had actual wrestling news and info, I took that as a sign. A sign that you are all as sick, if not sicker than me. Why you need to know what happened to me in Vegas when you can easily go there yourself, is beyond me. With that in mind here goes the CliffNotes Recap
(warning, if you are easily offended by some language, you may not want to read this). Just want to see the damn pics? Click Here!

Las Vegas average annual rainfall = 4 inches
Las Vegas average annual snowfall = 1.3 inches

Well, we beat those numbers all in the ONE WEEK that we were in Las Vegas.

I arrived in Vegas on Sunday, January 2nd. The weather seemed to be normal, for Vegas. Little did I know that it would rain Monday - Wednesday, snow on Thursday, then rain Friday and Saturday. Luckily for me, the conventions are indoors :)

We had two days (Sunday and Monday) before the conventions began.

I won't bore you with the details... just some highlights.

Sunday night we saw the Amazing Jonathan. The man is hilarious. If you have never seen his Comedy Central special or have never seen him perform live.. it is a MUST! He is sick!! I LOVED IT!

On the way to the Riviera, we took the bus. Some group of people from Indiana were on the bus. One woman, who was exceptionally large, fell over as the bus began to move and SQUASHED some poor little lady seated on the bus. I'm sorry, but it was the funniest thing I had seen in years. She fell in slow motion as she grabbed onto her friends shirt (nearly ripping it off) and just landed on this little woman. Then all she could say, while apologizing was, "I didn't realize the bus was going to move." "Don't they tell you when it's going to move." HELLO!! You are on a bus!! Is it supposed to remain stationary!!??

Monday night we saw X. This show SUCKED. Promoted as "an erotic adventure", it was anything but. When the highlight of "an erotic adventure" is the comedian at half time, you know you are in trouble. One girl did some cool moves hanging from two sheets from the ceiling. Outside of that, a total waste of time and money, even if it was half price.

Tuesday was Day 1 of the Internext Expo. People of importance in attendance included Ashton Moore, Krystal Steal, Carmen Luvana, Sunny Leone, Brittney Skye (who, by Day 5, was ready to get an order of protection against me), Alexis Amore, Lauren Phoenix (who is damn near 7 feet tall in heels), Aria Giovanni, and some girl named Jenna Jameson or something. I'm not a huge Jenna fan. Never have been, probably never will. However, this was the BEST I have ever seen her look. She is now a brunette and it looks incredible on her. Ashton is, has been, and will always be THE sweetest person I have ever met, in or out of the adult industry. Being the Internext Expo, the crowds do not get ridiculously huge, like they do at the AEE. That makes it a decent day, with the ability to get autographs from, pictures with, and a chance to speak with nearly anyone and everyone there.

Thus concludes part one of my escapade. More lurid details and pictures to follow so stay tuned...

Part 2 (in brief):

Day 2 of Internext saw Kaylani Lei (who is in hiding right now fearing Frank may show up at her front door), Justine Joli (who should be in hiding right now fearing I may show up at her front door), Peter North, Ron Jeremy, Lexington Steele, Tera Patrick, Ashton Moore, Krystal Steal, Carmen Luvana, Sunny Leone, Brittney Skye (who now seemed nervous seeing us again), Alexis Amore (who asked us every day if we saw Ashton yet), Lauren Phoenix, Aria Giovanni, Jenna (still a brunette), Kylie Wilde, and Cassie (from 7 Lives Xposed).

Wednesday night we pulled a double header. First we saw American Superstars at the Stratosphere (for half price, I'll see anything). It was one of those Vegas shows with lookalikes performing music. This show has Elvis, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Christina Aguillera, and Charlie Daniels. The last three were phenomenal. Elvis and Britney left a lot to be desired.

We followed that show with dinner at the 50's diner before heading to "Bite". Bite is "an erotic and sensual topless review based on deliciously evil vampires with a simple story line of sin, sex and seduction. The show centers around the Lord Vampire and his search for the perfect female specimen that he will seduce and make the queen of the night. Aiding the Lord is his coven of sultry and nimble dancers, the Erotic Angels of Rock. Their story will be told through the classic rock songs of the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s. Throughout the show, audience members will be chosen to become part of the erotic adventure" show about . It was set to a great soundtrack that featured everything from Kiss to Metallica. You know you've seen too much wrestling when songs start playing and you immediately picture Cactus Jack or Sandman entering the arena. Hot topless women, great music, what more can you ask for in Vegas? Oh yeah, pictures with the hot vampire chicks after the show!

"Best New Starlet nominee Gia Paloma suffered a cocaine overdose at the Venetian's popular Circle Bar Friday night and not only did she survive, she made it to the AEE show floor Saturday afternoon where she was an instant draw with fans.

She said she thought the coke may have been mixed with something else, but admitted she did “a lot of it; a lot, a lot, a lot. I couldn’t tell you how much I did, I really couldn’t, but they were big lines. I always do big lines. I don’t like little ones.”

Paloma said she wasn’t paying much attention to the appearance of the narcotic, but she did notice that there seemed to be little flaky crystals, making her suspect it was mixed with crystal methamphetamine. A drug expert contacted by AVN.com said it was more likely “glass,” adding that he’s not sure why people use it because it reportedly feels like “sticking a drill up your nose” when snorted. Meth burns,” he said, “but glass feels like the fires of hell are burning through your nose. Some people just like to get high. It’s surprisingly popular.”

Paloma suggested it may have been mixed with heroin, but the expert said that she likely would have become sick if it was heroin. “First time users typically get physically ill and throw up immediately, especially when they take quantities,” he said. Paloma said that she did not get sick.

“The next thing I know, I’m downstairs [at the Circle Bar],” Paloma said, “and I saw Megan Martinez and another girl that I can’t even remember, her face was so blurry at that point, and then next thing I knew they were carrying me away on the stretcher and there was a crowd of people looking down at me and I was thinking, Oh, shit, I hope there’s no cameras.”

People who witnessed the overdose said that prior to her collapse Paloma was having a hard time walking and keeping her balance (some speculated that she may have been on Ketamine hydrochloride, an animal tranquilizer more popularly known as "Special K"). Finally she fell against (JM Productions owner) Jeff Steward, then onto the floor, completely unconscious. Both Steward and his wife, Sandy, said that Gia looked like she was going to die. No awareness, no ability to speak and probably no memory of the event. Paramedics were called and Paloma was carried through the Venetian casino on a stretcher.

Some eyewitnesses reported that Gia waved to the crowd as she was wheeled off in the stretcher. While she doesn’t remember anything from that time, she said, “That sounds like me.”

Paloma said that while in the ambulance paramedics said her heart rate was 264 beats per minute and there was a fear that she would have a heart attack. The normal heart rate for an adult is 60-80 beats per minute.

A 1999 study by the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in Boston, the first to examine cocaine’s short-term effects on the heart, concluded that the risk of a heart attack increased by 24 times.

“Cocaine can cause a sudden rise in blood pressure, heart rate and contractions of the left ventricle of the heart,” the report stated. “These effects can increase the risk of a heart attack. Cocaine also tightly squeezes, or constricts, the coronary arteries that feed blood to the heart. If the artery constricts, blood flow to the heart and brain can be obstructed, causing a heart attack or stroke.”

Paloma said hospital personnel took away her cell phone and would not allow her to make phone calls.

“They were mean to me [at the hospital] because of why I was in there,” she said. “It was scary. I knew I had to tell them everything I’d done and how much and my tolerance level and that kind of thing, but I was scared they would call the authorities on me.”

While in the hospital she was told that she should eat chicken, salad and red wine.

While medical personnel wanted her to stay for observation, she had herself released from the hospital shortly after noon. “I said, ‘Fuck this, I have places to be!’”

As of 1:30 Saturday afternoon, sources at Anabolic (where Paloma was signing) confirmed the OD and said she was out of the hospital and in makeup, expected to be back on the floor signing in 30-45 minutes. When JM's Steward was told that she was not only out of the hospital, but would soon be back at the Anabolic booth signing, he shook his head and said, "Now that’s a real rock star."

An hour later there were conflicting reports from Anabolic officials. One refused to talk as he ushered some of the Anabolic girls to the hospital, saying only that she was still in the hospital and would not be returning to the booth. Lance Alot, who had said she was in makeup earlier in the day, swore she was fine, out of the hospital and would be signing within minutes. She appeared at 4:45, 15 minutes before the show ended for the day. She wasn't 100%, but she immediately drew a big crowd and posed for fan photos for about 15 minutes before rushing off to dinner. She reluctantly agreed to discuss the incident as she and Anabolic's Saki Bomb walked through the hotel to dinner.

Paloma – who was nominated for six AVN Awards, including Best New Starlet, for which she was considered by many a very viable contender – was still weary from the previous night and embarrassed that her incident was seen by so many people, said at one point that she might skip the night’s AVN Awards. She was quickly reminded that it would be good for her to show people she was doing fine, and that she had a good shot at the Best New Starlet trophy and she wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to accept.

She was also nominated for Best Actress for her work in Wild Things on the Run (Coast To Coast Video); one of her many starring roles, Gia Has a Negro Problem (LéWood Productions/JM Productions) for Best Interracial Release; and Best All-Girl Sex Scene – Video for The Violation of Audrey Hollander (JM Productions; which also featured Audrey Hollander, Ashley Blue, Tyla Wynn, Brodi and Kelly Kline).

Paloma did attend the Awards and received grand applause as she and her co-stars accepted the Best All-Girl Sex Scene – Video trophy for The Violation of Audrey Hollander.

She has been one of the fastest-rising stars in the adult business since she ditched her job at Starbucks and ditched her clothes for a life in porno in October of 2003, and she has turned in countless scenes since then. Last month she even made her directorial debut.

Recently she has been performing in fewer scenes and has been taking on more work as a makeup artist and in November directed her first video for Corey Jordan's No Boundaries.

“I was surprised that [Anabolic] let me come in today,” Paloma said before heading out for dinner. “If it had been my company, I’d have been like, ‘Honey, I’m really sorry about what happened and I hope you’re ok, but you’re not coming back.’”"

I saw Gia on Fri and Saturday and both days she looked damn good, especially on Saturday considering this!!

To be continued....

For those of you who can not wait any longer, click here for the first batch of pictures from Vegas. Photo quality is courtesy of the developer, so don't blame me!

Thursday was the first day of the AEE. To list the names of every person that was there would take forever (plus there were too many whom I never even heard of). That's what the pics are for :) Highlights included:

Inari Vachs not being able to find the doghouse booth she was supposed to appear at and two hours after thinking she left for the booth, she was still wandering around looking for the damn doghouse. We escorted her to the booth.

Ashley Blue acknowledging that Frank and I were the "two fans" of her tv show and calling Nautica Thorn over to point us out (as she is also on the show). First time meeting Nautica. Damn! Nuff said.

Saw Haven for the first time since last year's show. What a difference a year makes. Nuff said.

Ashton Moore (the one I hold personally responsible for getting me involved in the whole mess that is MySpace) signed the last of the items I own that relate to her. You would have thought I would have had that all done years ago! Got a few more pics with her so I can harass her in the future for more autographs LOL.

Janine was there!!! She's all tattooed up now. Not as exicting as it was back when she was a knockout.

Justine Joli is one of my new favorites. She's at the point where she recognizes us now (after 3 days, who wouldn't recognize my scary face?) but she isn't scared of us as if we were stalkers. She's cool and tells us how she'd like to check some of the rude people onto their asses. Gotta love a girl who can and will kick some ass if need be.

Cherokee!! How can you not love Cherokee?? I swear she has gotten smaller since the last time I saw her though. Cherokee asked how my website was (the one you are reading right now) and even posed for a picture for it. (the picture is now up on the photos page as well as rotating on the main page of the site).

That's all for now... Check out the pics. More to come tomorrow along with more from the convention, the red carpet, and a recap of Aussie Angels!

-----
The fact that this page and the page of pics from Vegas have all gotten almost as many hits as the 10 Questions With.. The Warrior says volumes about how many sickos read this site. THANKS!!

Thursday night we took it easy. Headed over to the Piano Bar at Harrah's to see "Dueling Pianos". Not that thrilling you say? Tsk tsk tsk. The pianists are blonde twins and they take requests for almost any song you could possibly imagine. Not into the music? Did I mention the twins? If nothing else, at least it's free entertainment. Had a seat, had some drinks, made some requests. Heard them sing "Hold me closer Tony Danza" which made my night.

Friday, day two of AEE. Thursday was great as it was "trade only", meaning if you are not in the business in some way, shape, or form, you could not attend the show. With no fans there, the lines were fairly short and the place wasn't too packed. On Friday, only the first two hours were for trade, after that (from 11am - 6pm) fans were allowed in. It was literally a zoo. How so many of the girls have the patience to put up with so many ridiculous people is beyond me. They all have my admiration as I was ready to kill a lot of people, just waiting behind them on a line, let alone having to listen to their ridiculous pick up lines, attempts at hitting on the girls, thinking they had a chance in hell, and on and on. Kudos ladies!

Inari Vachs yelled at me because we got to her booth late. Well, sweety, we were there at 12:30 and you weren't. Sure, you claim you were having your lunch break. After 30 minutes of work you need to eat? She posed for pics, etc. At the same time, also stalking Inari was Jim Norton, comedian extraordinaire from O & A as well as Tough Crowd. Got a picture with him. He is awesome and seemed surprise to hear that we have actually taken a boat to see Inari dance.

There were more girls here this year that I never heard of than any previous year. I would say 90% of those girls will not be around next year. The turnarond in this business is remarkable.

Legends today included Seka, Nina Hartley, Chasey Lain, a surprise appearance by Christy Canyon, Janine, and Jenna Jameson. Other notables (and basically I'm just running off the more "famous" names so you have some idea of who was there) include Carmen Luvana, Alexandra Silk, Cherokee, Ashton Moore, Krystal Steal, Haven, Justine Joli, Brianna Banks (the last 4 signed at the Club Jenna booth which was there for the first time this year and BLEW AWAY any other booth as far as look, organization, and giveaways). Also in attendance, the Jill Kelly girls (Jenna Haze, Tyra Banxxx, Cindy Crawford, Tyler Faith, and Nikki Benz), the Wicked Girls (Kaylani Lei, jessica drake, Devinn Lane, Stormy, Julia Ann, and Sydnee Steele), The Vivid Girls (Monique Alexander, Mercedez, Lexi Marie, and several others no one has ever heard of), Cytherea, Aria Giovanni, Katsumi (not Fujinami... it's a joke.. nevermind), Daisy, Miss Howard Stern, Ron Jeremy, Lexington Steele, Cousin Stevie, Mari Possa, Seymore Butts, Sylvia Saint, and the list goes on and on.. Hell, the only ones I didn't see were Flick Shagwell and Lezley Zen!

Friday night we took the monorail (and every time I think of it I start singing the monorail song from the Simpson's episode) to the Hilton. Had the not so great buffet for dinner before going to see Aussie Angels. Why it's called General Admission when, even if you are first on line, you can't get a table near the stage, is beyond me. The show was very good. A combination of humor, dance, and hot girls from Australia. The show was good because it didn't take itself too seriously (like X did). They knew that they were there to tease the crowd and they did it, while making fun of themselves and the audience. After the show, got a picture with the Angels and spoke to some of them. They were all very nice, have been here for 7 months and will be here for 5 more. If you are in Vegas during the next 5 months, give them a try.

Saturday.. the last day for us and the convention... More of the same... see the pics to see who we saw.

Saturday, after the show, we rested a bit before heading to the red carpet for the AVN awards. For some reason, the powers that be, made the red carpet area about 5 feet wide and allowed fans, press, etc to occupy the remainder of the hallway (instead of the other way around). Whatever. We had a guy who looked like Stiffler behind us. He didn't believe me when I told him that most of the girls would stop and pose for us, as we knew them. That changed as soon as Glori Anne made her way down the red carpet, stopped, posed, then gave Frank and I a hug before continuing. Stiffler was on cloud 9... until he realized he had the wrong memory card in his camera and only had 2 pictures left! LOL

Everyone from Gene Simmons, to Luther Campbell (2 Live Crew), to Jim Norton, Jill Kelly, Flick Shagwell, and everyone else in the industry showed up. Everyone stopped to pose for us. Even many of the ones who were rushing by stopped and did a quick pose once recognizing Frank and his damn Jets hat (btw, the entire time we had some guy keeping us updated on the Jets score, through his palm pilot. The moron told us the Jets had just one, when in fact, the game was tied and went into overtime. Jets won.. which is more than they did earlier today against Pittsburgh.. sorry Frank).

Inari Vachs, Puck, and Inari's husband made their way down the carpet and upon spotting us decided to "post" next to us. Their camera man and mic man hopped the guard rail and Inari and company were going to try and interview people as they walked the carpet. Security soon told them to move along to the designated press area or be thrown out. Damn security!!

Ashton made sure to get all the Club Jenna girls to stop and pose for us as well. Unfortunately, in one photo, I got Ashton blinking so it looks as if she is sleeping on her feet.

The red carpet arrivals finally ended around 9:30. Keep in mind the awards show was scheduled to start at 8:00. With some 100+ awards to be given out, that had to be a LONG night for all involved.

We headed back to the hotel, stopped to hear a few "Dueling Pianos" songs, then started to pack as we had to leave at 4:30am for the flight home.

Thus concludes the 2005 Vegas adventure. Everyone who swore they were going to come with us this year, after reading last year's recap, didn't. No big shocker there.. a lot of people are all talk and no action. Ron is going to go next year. ROTFLMAO. Nick may go too. OMG ROTFLMAO. Chances are, it will be Frank and I again.

Hope you enjoyed the brief recap. No lurid details this year. No play by play strip club action. No list of who blew up like a balloon or who's ego was too big to fit in the room. Just a few little notes from another great week. Thanks and be sure to check out more pics as they are added over the next 3 or 4 days.
