Did your family, many of whom were/are in professional wrestling, have a big impact on your decision to become a wrestler?

HIGH CHIEF PETER MAIVIA WAS THE IMPACT ON MY CHOICE TO BECOME A PRO WRESTLER. HE TRAINED ME AND GAVE ME MY START. I IN TURN, TRAINED MY BROTHER, SIKA & WE FORMED THE WILD SAMOANS. LATER WE TRAINED OUR NEPHEWS & SONS WHO ARE ALL IN THE BUSINESS TODAY.

For those who are not familiar with your family, could you tell the readers some of your relatives who have been in the sport?

IT STARTED WITH PETER MAIVIA (MY UNCLE) MYSELF, BROTHER SIKA, SONS, SAMU & LA SMOOTH, NEPHEWS, YOKOZUNA, FATU, THE ROCK, MATTY SMALL, THE TONGA KID & IN BOXING ( NEPHEW, DAVID TUA ) . COUSIN, SUPERFLY JIMMY SNUKA.

Do you remember when your first professional match was or who it was against?

PHEONIX AZ AGAINST CHRIS COLT.

What do you consider to be your greatest moment in wrestling?

WALKING DOWN THE ISLE OF MSG. THIS IS THE DREAM OF EVERY WRESTLER.

If there was one person, living or deceased, that you could wrestle who would it be and why?

THE PERSON THAT I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED TO WORK AGAINST IS MY COUSIN JIMMY SNUKA BECAUSE HE IS A GREAT WRESTLER AND WE CAN HAVE A EXCITING MATCH TOGETHER.

You, and your family members, have been managed by various people throughout your careers. What's the advantage of having a manager and who do you consider to be the top manager in the sport today?

THE ADVANTAGE FOR MY BROTHER & ME HAVING A MANAGER WAS BECAUSE WHEN WE STARTED WRESTLING OUR ENGLISH WAS NOT GOOD, AND IT WAS NICE TO HAVE SOMEONE WATCH OVER US ON THE BUSINESS END, IN THE RING, WE DID NOT NEED ANY HELP... I BELIEVE THAT I AM THE BEST MANAGER TODAY BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT MY KIDS AND THERE CAREERS.

There have been many rumors regarding your return to the WWF. Can you tell is if you will be returning in the near future?

AT THE MOMENT WE ARE ON HOLD TILL THE TIME IS RIGHT. BUT WE ARE UNDER CONTRACT WITH THE WWF.

Currently, you have your own promotion and you train many young stars. Which do you enjoy more wrestling, training, or promoting/booking?

I LOVE ALL OF THE ABOVE. I FORMED MY PROMOTION ( WXW ) TO GIVE THE FANS TOP QUALITY PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING. I STARTED MY CAMP, THE WILD SAMOAN TRAINING CENTER TO GIVE YOUNG HOPEFULLS THE BEST POSSIBLE CHANCE TO MAKE THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE.

What is the name of your promotion, where is it based and how can someone interested in becoming a wrestler, manager or valet get in touch with you?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I SEE MYSELF DEVOTING MOST OF MY TIME TO MY STUDENTS & WXW. I WILL ALSO BE SPENDING MUCH OF MY TIME WITH MY NEPHEW DAVID TUA AS HE CLIMBS THE MOUNTAIN IN THE WORLD OF PRO BOXING.
