Angel of Da Baldies

Da Baldies have made a name for themselves, in ECW, as one of the toughest teams in the wrestling business. As part of Da Baldies, Angel has feuded with everyone from New Jack to Balls Mahoney. Now Angel takes on another challenge. Answering 10 Questions for the Wrestling Clothesline!

1. What made you want to become a professional wrestler? (Where you a fan growing up?)
What made me want to become a professional wrestler was when I first saw NWA Pro Wrestling on TBS. It was the Midnight Express vs. The Fantastics. Right there and then, I knew that's what I wanted to do.

2. How did you get into the business?
I was trained by the Unpredictable Johnny Rodz in Gleasons' Gym in Brooklyn, New York and that's how I broke into the business.

3. When was your first match? Who was it against? and for what promotion?
My first match was in Spanish Harlem in 1995 against the Black Scorpion. Honestly, I can't remember the promotion, it was so long ago.

4. Other than ECW what promotions have you worked for?
Other promotions I have worked for were NCW, WUW, USA Pro, etc, etc...

5. What is it like to work for ECW and Paul Heyman? Do you have a contract?
I like working for Paul. ECW is my home and it's the best locker room I've ever been in. As for if I have a contract, no, I have not signed a contract yet.

6. Who came up with the idea of Da Baldies?
Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer.

7. What is your opinion on hardcore wrestling? Is there such a thing as going too far?
My opinion on hardcore wrestling is, I don't have any. It's a paycheck. And there's never going too far in pro wrestling.

8. Your feud with New Jack was extreme to say the least. What was it like working with him?
I like working with New Jack. He's a solid professional and he knows his way around the ring.

9. Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
Rich. Heh.

10. How can fans or promoters get in touch with you? (websites, email, etc..plug away!)
