The Artiste (formerly known as The Maestro) was kind enough to take time to answer 10 Questions for us.

1. Why did you decide to get involved in professional wrestling?
I was raised around wrestling my whole life. It has always been my dream to be the best I can be..especially pro wrestling.

2. Who trained you, if anybody and how did you find them?
Gene Anderson, Nelson Royal and ivan Koloff. They had wrestling schools in Charlotte NC.

3. When was your first match? Whom did you face? What promotion was it for?
against ACW champion L A Stevens.

4. How did you get "discovered" by WCW? (Did they come to you or vice versa?)
They(WCW) came to me while I was doing several overseas tours.

5. Did you like working for WCW? What were the pros and/or cons of working there?
I did enjoy wrestling for WCW, even though i knew i could have contributed more to the company if given the opportunity. Love to wrestle and be involved in what was going on with the company. Politics was the big con for me.

6. What is the reason you are no longer with WCW?
Politics

7. Have you been in touch with any other wrestling promotions? Might we see you in one of them in the near future?
Yes...maybe very soon...

8. What are you doing now? Where have you been working? How can fans or promoters find you if they are interested in contacting you?
Been wrestling in several independant promotions all across the country as well as being in negotiations with a couple of big ones. My fans and promoters on the net can reach me at my official website: www.thestro.com It is a great website that has something for everyone. Just opened up a merchandise section with my new t shirts, mousepads, and other items.

9. What wrestlers (past or present) do you enjoy watching in action?
Terry Funk, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Steve Regal,Lance Storm, Ric Flair, Jushin Liger, Mick Foley, Dusty Rhodes, Jake Roberts, Curt Hennig, Ricky Steamboat,Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels,etc.
