Candie Pop
One of the hottest ladies on the indy scene, Candie Pop is quickly making a name for herself as both a manager and a wrestler. Recently, Candie took time out of her schedule to answer 10 Questions for the Wrestling Clothesline.

1. What made you decide to get involved in professional wrestling?
I was hooked the moment I saw Miss Elizabeth and Macho Man Randy Savage.

2. What was the first promotion you wrestled for and who was your first match against?
I started off as a valet for MCW on January 19, 2000. My first match was in Palo Alto, PA for the FWA late that summer. I was in a mixed tag match, my partner was Soda Pop Ronnie Zukko and we wrestled Dino Divine and Colleen.

3. What promotions have you worked for?
I have worked for Maryland Championship Wrestling (MCW), GLOOW, WEW, MECW, ATCW, IPWA, JAPW, and the FWA

4. What do you enjoy most about the business?
There are a lot of things I love about this business. I love being able to entertain people, I love the friends I've made in this business, most of all, I love not knowing what tomorrow holds.

5. What do you like the least about the business?
It takes a lot out of you at times. There are times when you just don't feel like training or when you feel like you can't live up to what people (trainers, fans, etc.) expect of you.

6. Of all the promotions/promoters you have worked which has been your favorite (and least favorite) and why?
MCW is without a doubt my favorite.... they are my second family! I don't really have a least favorite promotion, I take everything as a learning experience!

7. When you're not wrestling what do you enjoy doing?
I'm actually pretty boring. I hang out with my friends and family. I'm a big concert go-er ... I'm pretty much a go with the flow girl.

8. What has been the most memorable moment of your career thus far?
I've had so many great experiences so far. I can't really think of just one. Trying out for Tough Enough 2 was pretty cool. I just feel really lucky so far with everything that has happened.... I think the best is yet to come!

9. Where can promoters and fans learn more about you or contact you?
You can check me out at www.IWantCandie.com or www.marylandwrestling.com
I love hearing from fans too, you can email me at candiepop311@aol.com

10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Still going strong, hopefully, and only getting better!! Five years is a long way away... I live each day as it comes... I don't see the sense in taking one day for granted!
