Deranged
1. What
made you decide to get involved in professional wrestling?
Well my dad always used to watch wrestling all the way back to the old,
old, OLD days. they days of bruno sammartino, killer kowalski, etc. etc.
when i was a kid he would sit me down next to him and we would watc it
together. i always liked how wrestling was sort of a different world full
of heros and villains, kinda like comic books which i was also obsessed
with as a kid. when i became a teen my goal was baseball, but then i stumbled
upon a wrestling gym out in brooklyn that is very unknown but the ppl
that started there are. such as low ki, monsta mac of da hit squad, homicide,
the sat, and so on. i just developed a love for it once i stepped into
the ring for that first time. started to love it even more when i did
my first show.
2. What kind of training, if any did you have?
I was trained by Homicide and Low Ki. I was taught the basics of wrestling,
developed my stamina, and was taught how to take a beating and also give
it back. Training with them is definitely not easy. U gotta work hard
and take alot of punishment and stiff shots, but its all out of love and
for ur own good. alot of pricks out there are gonna try and bully u, especially
if ur my size and u gotta be ready for that. so im grateful for all the
abuse they out me through lol.
3. What promotions
have you worked for?
I' ve worked for JAPW, UCW (now known as ICW), JCW, LIWF, UWA, MEPW, and
im booked for IPW down in Florida, NWA New Jersey, and HWA.
4. Of all the promotions
you have worked for which has been your favorite (and least favorite)
and why?
Well honestly...its kinda of close race between JAP and JCW. JAP because
thats my whole family right there, i love every single one of them like
brothers and sisters, and, JCW because they took me in for the first time
and treated me already ike family and the locker room is great. everybody
is cool as hell in that locker room just like JAP's locker room.
5. What has been
your most memorable moment in wrestling thus far?
Damn....i dont know cause i really havent had many "moments".
I guess it would be when i was finally initiated into DA HIT SQUAD family.
Which consists of of Homicide, D Hit Squad themselves, Low Ki, J - Train,
Low Life Louie, and a few others. When they finally asked me to be apart
of their "family" i felt really good. i felt like i had earned
at least SOME of their respect. i just took it as such a compliment that
Homicide, Low Ki, Da hit Squad and all the rest felt i was good enough
and deserved to be in their clique. i finally felt like all that hard
work i put into every single performance and training paid off.
6. On several occasions,
during matches, you have been known to shout some discouraging remarks
about a certain indy wrestler (named after a primary color). What is the
reason for your apparent dislike for him?
Well...i know this is a cliched thing for ppl to say when asked something
like this but i really cant share the reasons with anyone. Its rather
personal and out of respect towards him and everyone else i wont get into
that. i decided what ever beef me and him had before i will drop it and
just worry more about wrestling and putting on a good show for the crowd.
Heat between wrestlers is really stupid and unnecessary i think.
7. What wrestlers
do you enjoy watching the most or do you try to pattern your ring work
after?
Well i enjoy watching a few ppl....
I admire Kurt Angle cause of his charisma and mic work..i try to pick
things up fomr him in that area, and i also like to watch dragon kid and
rey mysterio cause of their high flying
8. What is your
favorite thing about being a pro wrestler? What is your least favorite
thing?
Well my favorite thing is....THE CHICKS lol....nah really its entertainin
that crowd and gettin that pop that ensures me im doin my job..thats the
best part...and road trips are the best too lol. my least favorite thing
is the soreness and pain that i go through daily. not bein able to walk
at the age of 18 really sux lol.
9. What do you
think of the current state of pro wrestling? Where do you see wrestling
headed in the next year?
Well i currently think that the current state of pro wrestling sux. Im
seeing too much personal drama and heat between ppl and not enough wrestling.
also im seeing to much talent in the indies that SHOULD be in the big
time right now but arent. basically its not what u know, its WHO u know
and whos ass u kiss.
10. Where do you
see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself hopefully ALOT bigger, alot better, and aimin for a developmental
deal with the wwf AT LEAST lol. but if not i still wont mind. I have alot
of fun workin the indies. thats where the BEST talent is. If none of that
works out, I see myself in a wheelchair lol. i gotta chill with the crazy
stunts.
