On October 31, 2003 I was honored to attend the wedding reception for Damian "Dragon" and "Foxxy Dreams".

The reception, which was held at the Paramus Elks Lodge, started at 7pm. Due to a prior commitment, I was unable to arrive until slightly after 9pm. (Meaning I missed what was described to me as a "pile up" as the males attempted to catch the brides garter, followed by a "You F'd Up!" chant.)

The reception, which was costumes optional, had numerous luminaries. Some of them included (in no particular order): Tara Charisma, Dani "The Suicidal Photographer", Shawn "Peter Pan" Sheridan, Christina Fiorella Aguillera and her sister, Devin "Completely Pimped Out" Sturgis, Danny Demanto, Prince Nana, Bob Cassidy and family, Dave "I don't need a costume" Greco, Noel, Hunter Q Robbins twin, and Ricky "Tommy Dee" O. (If I forgot anyone, I apologize). For the record, I dressed simply as a fan (or Johnny Cash, depending on who asked).

Foxxy was in a very attractive, all black dress (complete with tiara) while Damian was decked out in a black suit with red shirt and tie and the lovely Mr. Hughes hat.

The DJ played everything from "White Wedding" to "The Electric Slide" to one of Macho Man's new songs off his rap album (available in stores now) at the request of Devin while a number of guests danced on the dance floor (some scarier than others).

Ricky O and Shawn Sheridan serenaded us with their version of Biz Markie's "Just a Friend" which took them six months to write. (They changed ONE word in the song and it took them SIX months??!)

The hall was nicely decorated and the spread (that's the food) was very good. The cake (which Frank was forced into taking 2 pieces with him) was also delicious.

The evening ended with Damian and Foxxy getting on the mic to thank everyone from the "The Scooby Gang" and the DDS, to all the wrestlers in attendance and some fan website.

All in all it was a great evening in celebration of the wedding of two great people in a business that doesn't have all that many in it.
